Eric, Arkham City is only 17% off for me. Some of the other prices seem wrong as well (Spacemarine is 44.97 €) Is a special code needed or something?

That’s gotta be irritating for the people who bought it on Steam yesterday for 50% off, on the presumption that it couldn’t get any lower.

Yeah, use the JOLLY-BRUCE-WAYNE coupon code at checkout.

You have to hit “Buy Now”, then on the next page copy the code Eric lists under each game into the “Voucher” box to get the reduced price. LOTR War In the North goes from $30 to $12.50 for example.

Ugh, too tired. You are right, and he posted the codes right underneath. Thanks, Eric for posting and Slainte Mhath and Tom for pointing it out ;)

War in the North comes to $12.32 (I’m in the US). Game deflation is crazy.

(Oops, obviously it took me too long to type that short message).

I would also like to get Renegade Ops from Amazon, but am thwarted by being Australian. If someone could PM me, I can arrange to pay you for the steam code.

Saints Row 3 with DLC pass and Genki pack is up on the UK THQ store again. £14.99 for all that and it activates on Steam. If you use Paypal, you’ll have no trouble ordering in the US.

So if my math is correct that should be $23.50 US.

Thanks! Just bit on this.

Ditto. I was looking for a deal on this game.

I enjoy the fact that the world is flat in the instances where it doesn’t kick my ass.

Can someone explain the DLC for DX:HR to me? It shows up in Steam as if it’s a different game. Is there no way to integrate it into the base game, or is it an entirely separate thing?

It’s kind of like Assassin’s Creed. There’s a point in the game where it skips ahead in time a bit. The DLC fills in that gap. You play it separately, AFAIK, but I haven’t actually bought it.

Arkham City doesn’t activate on Steam. If you buy it at GMG and plan to get the DLC, remember you’ll be stuck with GFWL Marketplace. I don’t know if they have sales on DLC there very often.

Great deal, thanks! I’ve been wanting to pick this up and I doubt a better deal is going to show up any time soon.

Thanks for the tip, Eric. I’ll be sure to keep this in mind on the 26th. :)

Okay, you know what? I talked* to GMG and told them Mark wasn’t too thrilled with the discount. They informed me that they would further discount it just to please you. If you’re quick, you can now buy it for $12.32 using the WARIN-SNOWY-NORTH code. Hurry, offer ends soon.

At this price, I bit. Doubt Steam will have it lower anytime soon.

(Yes, already mentioned twice.)

*not really

Let me warn everyone-

War in the North has immense problems with ATI cards. You will get to a point in the game where the frame rate is sub 1fps, making it impossible to continue.

The developer has been active on forums saying that they won’t fix it themselves, and it is up to ATI whether or not a later driver revision will address it.

So, you’re basically buying a broken game at this point if you have an ATI card.

Just a reminder to everyone not to buy that tempting new AMD 7970 card, no matter how tempting the benchmarks and price/performance ratio look…

That’s odd. I bought a 560 Ti and it came with Arkham City which required me to activate it on Steam. Admittedly I bought the card through Amazon, but I don’t see how that would make much difference.

Heroes VI is $20 on Amazon right now.

Amazon has a bunch of good stuff, actually. Some highlights:

Just Cause 2 - $2.50
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - $2.50
Splinter Cell: Conviction - $3
Assassin’s Creed 2 - $7
Settlers 7 - $12
From Dust - $7.50
Rainbow Six: Vegas/2 - $3
