Amazon’s #1 rule has always been to sell cheaper than anyone else. I’m a little surprised it’s taken them this long.
Green Man Gaming has FEAR 3 for $15.37 (current Steam price is $26.79).
Activates on Steam.

That’s because nVidia was giving away Steam-specific codes as part of their promotion. If you get Arkham City from anyone but Steam it won’t have Steamworks integration.
Of course, bandwidth on the scale that Amazon purchases is practically nothing per GB anyway. They are not exactly saving much by sticking Steam with the bandwidth bill.

I know this one was tossed about for the Steam sale, don’t think I’ve seen the Amazon price listed here, but currently Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga (Download) is on sale at Amazon for $7.99 (I think Steam had it for $9.99 yesterday, it’s $19.99 today).
This incredible RPG includes the entirely remastered and improved version of Ego Draconis, the original adventure of the Divinity II saga. The content of this edition as well as its graphic engine have both been much improved and overhauled, in order to provide a more beautiful and richer game experience!
Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga also includes the brand new adventure Flames of Vengeance, which adds dozens of hours of gameplay to the original story, and packs loads of new quests, creatures and items, as well as a spectacular finale to this great saga!

I’ve never played a Settlers game but have heard good things.
Is it basically an RTS along the lines of Age of Empires? Or like the Anno series?

It is more like the Anno series. It was very well received around here for those who could get past the Ubifail. I’m still debating myself… $12 is a really good price. But I keep waiting to see what Steam rolls out too.
The Lara Croft game is a steal for $2.50. And if you like city-builders/resource management, Settlers is well worth the $12.

Settlers 7 is one of my favorite strategy games of the last few years. A great blend of lite management sim, infrastructure maintenance, and boardgame mechanics. Like Anno, but you are competing with other players trying to accomplish the same objectives. A great design.

Settlers 7 was amazing, I made quite a few posts in the thread we have on the forums here.
So, Amazon has flipped and my indecisiveness has cost me an opportunity at Settlers 7 which is back up to $25. On the other hand, Civ V Game of the Year is down to $11, and Tropico IV is at $5 currently.
I highly recommend getting that Tropico 4 at $5. Unbeatable deal…
Plus you get a 5 dollar coupon for another digital download usable in January, which makes Tropico 4 free.
Order this product between now and 12/31/2011 and receive a $5 promotional credit good towards any of the 2011 bestselling Video Game Download like “Battlefield 3” or “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” in the month of January 2012. You will receive an email with your promotional code and redemption instructions.
It’s a nice thought, but I’ve got like 8 of those now. Amazon has had a lot of tremendously good sales on stuff while that promotion has been running, and given their list of “Bestselling Games of 2011” there are maybe two games on there I might like which would qualify

Gamersgate has 60% off Arkham City, as a daily deal. That’s €20 where I’m at, and I’m very much considering getting it.
How is the DRM scheme for this game? I heard it has a 10 activations limit. Is that also the case if I were to get it on steam? Also, is the DLC worth getting?
Basically, I’d prefer to have it on steam, but if the DLC sucks (it looks a bit like it does) and DRM are the same anyway, I’d rather save the €5 it would cost extra on steam (assuming it’s brought back on the last day of the sale).
Not only that, the bundle of Civ V Game of the Year, Civ IV Complete, and some Stronghold collection is $15.

Amazon also has Dungeon Defenders for $2.

I found it quite hard to locate this on Amazon site:
