I feel like Amazon is pulling some shenanigans with their 2011 Bestseller promo. I could of sworn last night LA Noire was on the list and you could have gotten it for $7.50 after the $5 coupon. But I made a deposit today and went to try and buy it but it isn’t on the list anymore, although it’s still on sale for $12.50.

They have been, and your recollection is correct.

Oh, and if you apply a $5 promo code to a product and decide you don’t want to purchase, there’s no way to disassociate the code from the product (at least I couldn’t figure out how to). Looks like I’ll need to contact Amazon and have them do it.

I almost commented on this yesterday but decided that maybe I was being paranoid. I really do find it very hard to believe that LA Noire isn’t one of their top selling games of '11 but Mount & Blade Warband is, though.
