So there´s a sale on Impulse today: Dream Catcher Sci-fi bundle for US$15. It includes:

Aquanox, AquaNox2: Revelation, Chaser, SpaceForce Rogue Universe, SpaceForce Captains and Genesis Rising: the Universal Crusade.

Now I haven´t played any of these, but the price seems nice for 6 games and if only 2 of them are decent I´ll consider it a good buy. So, any of you guys played those and can offer some ideas? thanks in advance!

Those are all mediocre to good sci-fi games. I’ve toyed with all of them except chaser and found them fun enough. It’s worth the price for all of those games.

Saw that…waiting for the inevitable $9.99/$4.99 price drop. Kohan is one of the few RTSes (but not full bore RTS) that I have gotten a lot of mileage out of.

Hey Tom: since this is a thread that I believe a large percentage of the forum checks on daily (I certainly do), would you be willing to sticky it for the remainder of 2011? It would be nice to have it at the top of the games forum until the next calendar year rolls around.

I could, but I prefer to browse the forums as a whole–it’s fun to find threads about games I’ve never heard of, and as long as I’m browsing anyway, stickies at the top work great.

Use the User CP to track threads you are subscribed to. By default you are subscribed to threads you start or post to. Tom doesn’t read every thread so if you want him to respond to your request, you are best off pm’ing him.

Yes, I know how to use the user CP :-). It’s an extra step I could avoid with a sticky, though, since I prefer browsing the forums. Good point about the PM; I’ll send him one.

I honestly have no idea, I’m waiting to see the monetary damage of an upcoming trip before I buy anymore games. You can always try it and see what happens!
