Everyone should buy Garshasp because it’s literally made by two Prince of Persia fans who spend their free time developing the game… in IRAN! Plus it’s actually a pretty decent game.
Goddammit! Now I have to play this all weekend…

No it really really isn’t.
It’s decent. Shoestring budget, but decent. And it’s not like there’s a lot of God of War clones on PC.
Orderd Deus Ex on Amazon the damn screen got stuck on the payment part. Now it looks like i have to oreders lol what a mess.

Witcher 2 for 14 Pounds from Direct2Drive. Seems like a pretty good deal!

Your post was even more of a mess.
If the Borderlands GOTY is still available I would love to give it a try! Please help a poor old newbie to the boards out :)
So I just purchased Deus Ex thru Amazon (thanks Telefrog!), but is there a way I can get a product key and just download it straight through Steam now? I’d rather not mess with another digital distribution setup.
EDIT: Derp, derp, I figured it out. Just go to your Library in Steam, Click “Add a Game…” and enter the product key that Amazon includes with your receipt. Nothing to see here, move along.
I like indie games getting exposure, but now that I am in the habit of buying big budget games for five to ten dollars it seems absurd to pay the same amount for an indie game. But that’s me.
I wish they would run two deals of the day, one indie and one old big budget games. At this point I will probably stop checking until the big sales.
Well the order went thru and now I have 2 copies of DX. Not sure if they can refund one of them, if they cant, can I sell the one extra key?
RPG sale at Direct2Drive. Dragon Age II for $11.99 and others
That’ll do it for me. I’m going to try to squeeze it in before Skyrim along with a couple other RPGs I have scheduled.
Sure, as long as you didn’t enable it in Steam. Sell it to someone and they can just plug it in themselves.
It looks like they force you to use their stupid GameSpy Comrade download tool with this. Oh well, more junk for my new computer.

Looks like the Cossacks series has been added to the Steam catalog
Yay!! Been meaning to pick those up.
I’ll buy it off you if you wish.
The Steam daily deal is Metro 2033 for $5. I’m not sure if that’s a new low price for it or not, but it’s a deeply atmospheric, very Russian post-apocalyptic experience that I would heartily recommend. $5 is a steal. (It also looks really good if you’ve got the computer to handle the highest settings, but that means a DX11 card and a fairly beefy CPU, etc.) The closest comparison would probably be Stalker, but people who go in expecting that series’ open-ended roaming will be disappointed as Metro 2033 is a fairly tightly linear game.

I have an account at Gamersgate.com but it’s $16.98. How do I go about getting it from Gamersgate.co.uk? It won’t let me sign in with my .com account.
