That was my joke :(

They have the highest rate of suicide of any occupation. You don’t need to be doing anything to tip them over the edge, thanks.

Wait, seriously, they do?

It’s the bargain thread guys. It really works well. Please don’t turn it into four pages of “disabled vets, HAWHAWHAW” versus “that’s not very tasteful, joking about disabled vets.”

Only the Swedish ones.

You know, the game is already great but that… would make it better.

That riddick game, it is the same as the Escape From Butchers Bay, except with more content, or?
Cause Escape was probably the best movie-tie-in-game I have played.

It includes the original game plus an all-new, shorter game, apparently. Kinda getting two games in one.

Yes, Darth Athena (:P) includes the entire Escape from Butcher Bay game. Dark Athena is the newer game and seems to have not reviewed as favorably as Escape did. Escape was also given a fresh coat of paint via some higher-res textures when it got bundled with DA.

This…

I thought that was dentists.

Is this the first example of moderator-free community control measures?

Eh, Tom never did anything about topic drift. The Bargain Thread was always self-policed.

Well it used to be Dave Long-policed.

Hi

This is the bargain thread. Came in here to look for bargains and not have to read irrelevant posts or have large jpegs filling up the screen (posted by people who think they re oh soooo witty).

Kindly take your unconnected unbargain ungame discussion elsewhere, thank you.

There’s a new sheriff in town.

Amazon is having a Back to School/College sale on video games. Under the Back to School section, they’ve got Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time for $20. It is an absolutely wonderful game. If you own a PS3, you should get it if you like platformers even a little bit.

They’ve also got the 360 version of Lego Rock Band for under $8. It’s a great title, with some of the best selection of songs in the Rock Band series, and it’s exportable to other Rock Band titles for an additional $10 (I think… it’s been a while since I did it). Songs like Queen’s We Will Rock You, We are the Champions, Blur’s Song 2, Europe’s Final Countdown, and many more that are just perfect for games like this.

I’m sure there’s other gems in that sale too, I haven’t fully explored it yet.

Steam Daily Deal for September 5 is Hamilton’s Great Adventure for $4.99 (50% off). Curiously the page notes the title only works on Vista and Windows 7.
