Ubisoft is having a Gamescom promo with one game a day for $1 starting today with HAWX 2. Looks like you have to download through their new Uplay client. Friday is From Dust, Saturday is Silent Hunter 5 and Sunday is Driver: San Francisco.

Time for everyone to pickup goddamn Driver. And wasn’t some dude wanting to check out Silent Hunter 5? Now’s the time. By coincidence, I just played the incredible “Going Hunting” level of the Battlefield 3 singleplayer campaign, so I picked up Hawx 2 for $1. It won’t be as good, as course, but I have to try it now.

Stronghold 3 is $10 on GamersGate. I hear it’s bad, but that’s getting close to buy it anyway to check it out territory.

This was my plan too. The code showed up in my account right after “buying” the free game but the code didn’t work. I went back an hour or so later and the same code worked just fine. Borderlands 2 pre-ordered for $40!

I’d totally be there if you could activate them on steam. I still have a a $1 copy of Age of Empires III that Microsoft used as bait to get me to buy from Xbox live windows marketplace for Pc for windows or whatever. Still haven’t played it, nor have I bought anything from Windows Live market place for xbox on PC but Windows either.

GMG promo code PCGMR-GREEN-SUMMR still appears to be working for a 20% discount. I just tested it in the shopping cart on Sleeping Dogs and the discount showed up, but I didn’t actually make the purchase. It appears this promo may be ending sometime today though. If you miss it, there was a prior sale on Borderlands 2 at GMG for $40, so there’s hope it might come up again.

Anyone know how the graphics overhaul is coming along? I tried the demo and I’m sad to report that I’m one of those who can’t enjoy this game due to the graphics, mostly because I can’t always see things blending into the background. Not because it’s ugly or whatever, I’ve played games for too long to care about something like that.
