They have sales so infrequently, they must not know how to integrate them into the website.

Full price of all three games in USD: $60.97
Full price of all three games in CAD: $64.93
Current exchange rate: $1 USD = $0.992033 CAD

Hmm.

Sale ends on September 4 for all three. 33% off.

You’re forgetting the ‘fuck you’ tax for not using USD.

I’ll probably buy it anyway. Might be a good opportunity to break out the USD credit card that otherwise collects dust.

Brian, link some youtube videos that would convince me to buy Distant Worlds.

I’m not even near the fence yet on buying this game.

This, please.

I’m stuck on my phone, could someone please link the great Let’s Play series of vids, at least, for the time being?

Das24680 is the one Brian’s probably talking about, and he’s done videos on the base game, first expansion and second expansion.

Didn’t Precursors need a big fan patch to be playable? Is that still floating around?

Yeah, that one, thanks Otagan!!

How do I get this? I downloaded the gamersgate ver, but it wont let me download the expansion since I didn’t get it through Beamdog.

Do I need to setup beamdog to get this?

Or you could search Precursors on this forum :\

(WESP’s patch is up to 1.6 now)

Tiny Token Empires is 70% off in the gamersgate sale. It’s sort of Puzzle Total War. http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TTE/tiny-token-empires-pc

fuck, the only thing missing now is Puzzle Quest Star Wars or Puzzle Flight Simulator.

I just noticed that Company of Heroes Gold is £3.74 (multiply by 1.6 for USD equivalent) at Gamestop, which appears to be a lot cheaper than the competition

Gamersgate has the Stronghold Collection on sale for $5 today, as well as Trine 2 for $3.75 (steal!) and Lego Harry Potter 1-4 for $7.68.

Trine 2 is awesome. Played co-op with my 8 year old and we had a blast.

The new weekend deals are up on Steam. Mirror’s Edge is the daily, for five bucks, and the Just Cause series is 75% off. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is also on sale, which I was expecting around now, for the intriguingly low discount of 33% off. Ubisoft definitely seems determined to keep the prices up for it’s core franchises (Heroes VI went on sale for less than 50% for the first time last week, I believe).

And KOTOR 2 is now on Steam for $10.

Is Stronghold Collection worth it?

I played the original when it came out and thought it was ok. #2 and #3 get pretty bad reviews, both user and critic on metacritic so it seems like even at $5 it isn’t worth it, specially since I have a big backlog. Anyone recommend getting the collection for #2 and #3 (I have no interest in replaying #1). Thanks.
