3 and 0 against, guess I’ll save my my $3.74 for another day. Won’t buy Ubisoft so the Prince of Persia games are out.

Thanks.

Well, you’re missing out if you don’t at least play The Sands of Time, and I think that the 2008 reboot was pretty great as well.

Amazon just started a big weekend sale on Civilization IV and V.

Civ IV: Complete is $7.49 (Steam and Non-Steam versions available)
Civ IV: Colonization is $4.99
Civ V: Game of the Year is $12.49 (Steam)

Plus a bunch of DLC at 75% off.

… I don’t understand how GMG makes money.

Sleeping dogs @ 30% is mighty tempting… DAMN YOU GMG…

I’ll keep playing Dark Souls, maybe the temptation to get another game will pass…

I second this. I just finished Prince of Persia: no subtitle (2008) last week, and it was an incredible blast!

Hoping for a buyout?

Me too. I just finished Prince of Persia 2008 and then Forgotten Sands right after that. In my opinion 2008 had a better story but was pretty easy. The platforming and combat were simple then with the unlimited number of times you can be saved by your companion made it very easy. Still fun though.

Sands of Time was more challenging and you had to have some nimble fingers to hit all the right keys in certain areas. The time rewinds were very helpful but since there weren’t unlimited forced me to be more careful. In any case both were worth picking up and playing.

Yeah, I already gave in to Sleeping Dogs. I’m battling the urge for Darksiders II at $35, but that one’s easier because Dark Souls. Sleeping Dogs though … well, there’s no current open world modern town driver/gangster/cop thing out right now so I failed that save roll almost immediately.

… I realize that probably didn’t help. :P

Big Fish Games - any game for $2.99 with the coupon code NEW299

Question re: GMG’s versions of Sleeping Dogs: One is designated with (NA) which I presume means North America, and there’s another one with no special designation. Is it a matter of different DLC? The non-NA one mentions “George St Pierre” content, and the NA one talks about a “Triad Enforcer Pack.”

Two worlds 2 is the daily steam sale for $7.49, can anyone advise?

It’s pretty good. If you have room for a lengthy EuRPG, check it out.

TW2 was a really pleasant surprise for me. It has some really interesting systems (especially magic), it looks rather nice, and it has a sense of humor. Certainly worth that price.

Modern Warfare and Prototype games are half off on Amazon this week. At least Prototype 2 and Modern Warfare 2 are Steamworks. Probably others, too.

Welp, I was agonizing over whether or not to buy Sleeping Dogs at that price but fortunately the decision was made for me as GMG declined my credit card.

I know they’re a UK company, is this a common thing for them? It’s the first time I’ve ever had any problems buying something online

Black Ops and MW3 are too. And probably any other Call of Duty game that comes out from here on out.
