I had to call my CC and have them approve anything from GMG.

Dissenting opinion: I bought this cheap a while back and could never get into it. It looked to have promise: the magic system seemed cool, the combat just okay, but I was quickly thrown into a horse race that had to be completed around the mostly empty terrain, like it wanted to be a Red Dead Redemption/Oblivion hybrid. After a dozen fails, I uninstalled it and never went back.

You’re not alone. My solution was to use PayPal.

Amazon has a big labor day sale planned and they’ve started out with a bunch of stuff from 2K Games.

The individual game sales aren’t great, but they have a few packs like this: Bioshock 1 & 2 with Spec Ops: The Line for only $19.99. Spec Ops alone is $25.

There is also a Stronghold Collection for $9.99.

Both those packs unlock on Steam.

The Darkness 2 is down to $10 in that sale, as well, very much worth it.

There’s also a bundle with Darkness 2, Borderlands: GOTY and Nuke Nukem Forever for $19.99, but that’s only a savings if you actually want DNF…

Bioshock and Spec Ops bundle is awesome! No need to worry about them Bioshock disks anymore! :D

Looks like Getgamesgo is selling Anno 2070 for $15.99. Is this the lowest price it is been?

Looks like they’ve added a bundle with Max Payne 3 and GTA4 Complete for $24.99. Steam versions, naturally.

EDIT: this one is just good on 8/28.

Ugh why combo together such an old game with Max Payne 3. Ick!

Gamersgate has Jane Jensen’s Gray Matter on sale @ 7.50. Cheapest I have seen so far.

Recommended if you like Jane’s older work (Gabriel Knight series mainly).
The game deals with an interesting matter and isn’t too hard. Apart from the very first “puzzle” (how to get the door of the estate open) I didn’t need any hints / walkthroughs.

Where I failed

Read the plate at the door bell and then ring it! Duh!
(the plate is kinda hard to spot though)

Some EA deals on Impulse/Gamestop today:

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - $20 (DLC is half off, as well).
Crysis 2: Maximum Edition - $10
Syndicate - $15

Amazon’s Gold Box deals are video game stuff today, too. Max Payne 3 and GTA 4 Complete PC download bundle for $25 right now.

Wonder if Steam will do a holiday sale… rubs chin

Currently playing this game and tackled the first DLC (Legend of Dead Kel) as it was stated you should do it below level 20 or you will bee too high level and find nothing of use.
I finished it after 10 hours and gained around 4 1/2 levels (from 18 to 23).
A ton of stuff for DLC including a new home and some nice gear.
However it’s more of the same so if you like Kingdoms you will like it. If not this DLC will not make you a fan.

From last year’s experience:

A smaller Thanksgiving Sale (4-5 days) and then the big X-mas Sale.

So, probably a dumb question but will Amalur DLC bought on Gamersgate activate on the core game if I own through Origin? I really don’t know if that matters or not.

Looks like the new Indie Royale bundle is out :

I’m only familiar with Analogue and that was a pretty fun game if you are into Japanese style adventure games

Waves is really good.

Analogue is too.
