Anyone with GMG discount code to share for XCOM? Thanks!

I’ve played one of the earlier Telepath games. It feels like a poor mans Advance Wars. The developers heart is in the right place though, the classes force some interesting tactical decisions.

Heres a little questionnaire to help you out:

  1. Are you a PC only Turn Based Gamer?

  2. Do you cry bitter tears of anguish because the Advance Wars games have never been ported to PC?
Answer) If yes to both the above questions, then buy Telepath.

  3. Do you own a PSP?
Answer) If yes, buy “Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together”.

  4. Why are you still here? Buy Tactics Ogre immediately.

Quantum Conundrum and Season Pass is $5.

It tells me that voucher code can’t be used when I try to apply it to XCom.

Can’t use voucher on xcom in USA.

Wow, borderlands 2 for $36 is a nice deal.

Too good of a deal to pass up for something I know I’m getting day 1 anyway. Bought.

Yup. I was totally going to wait for a Xmas discount, but at $36 I couldn’t pass it up, especially since buying it later would actually add a Mechromancer tax.

Tempting… but I think I’ll wait for the GOTY edition for Steam’s 2013 winter sale.

Damn, $36 is hard to pass up, especially with the CAD so high right now. I was going to pass on Borderlands 2 for now, but I think I’ll bite at that price, especially since the game is so co-op dependent.

Bunch of Sims 3 deals on GameFly, ranging from $7.99 to $15.99.

Even though one is probably just buying Origin codes here, and is not reliant on GameFly for their download, let me reiterate: fuck GameFly. Make all my D2D games available again, GameFly, maybe I will give you more money. Or at least put a halt to my praying for your death in a fire.

Did you ever try the co-op in Borderlands? SO much fun, and I say that even though I don’t play a lot of multiplayer nowadays.

Waiting till 2013 means you’ll either have nobody to play with, or a bunch of level 50 people who won’t want to play with you because of balance issues.

Just sayin… :) Some games are worth getting onboard during the bandwagon period!

I watched a few gameplay videos of Borderlands 2, decided it was probably going to be a similar experience to the first game, and realized I was in no rush to buy it. Your post reminded me that my co-op friend usually buys games on Steam sale. Now I think I’ll wait AND play with him. Problem solved!

I’m with you on that. Even though I didn’t lose any D2D games, I’m not about to reward that kind of behavior.

Give away free copies of Plants vs Zombies this Halloween instead of candy! (Or just get a free copy if you don’t have it already, I guess.)

Bought! Thank you lordkosc!

GMG didn’t give me the Steam code yet, so that means I will not be part of Steam’s crowd-source reward for Civ V. Oh well, $12 saved is better!

Gamers’ Gate have Civilization IV Colonization for 50% off.

Coming soon:

Winter Wolves collection. I enjoyed the couple I’ve bought in this one.

GMG sent me an email advertising Saint’s Row 3 for 75% off. $9.99, plus you can use the 25% off code (GMG25-1BW0K-K1A3G), plus you can trade in any of those free games they gave us a while back. Got mine for $5 in the end. Activates on Steam.
