Did they fix Risen 2 with patches? The first game was my favorite RPG in years, but the second was universally panned for clunky combat and glitches galore. If a few patches have rectified the issues, $17 sounds about right.

It’s a pretty awesome discount. I used the deal for a $35 Company of Heroes 2 pre-order.
I know they fixed some stuff. But You are going to ask Paul_cze or someone else for specifics.
GOG.com: “Pay what you want” for Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, and Divinity 2 (upcoming). It’s pay what you want except to get beyond you need to beat the average (currently $9.09) and if you want divinity 2 it’ll be $20.99.
So basically it’s a preorder with bonuses if you want anything other than DD.

From the old ones, the “good one” is Divine Divinity, or that’s what I heard all these years. So people shouldn’t pay a lot in the effort of reaching the point from where you obtain BD.
Nice to see GOG is doing bundles now too. DD is a good one :) I tried really hard to enjoy BD years ago but couldn’t. Highly recommend putting it on the easiest difficulty at first and using quicksave often.
A heads up that Tony the Amazon digital downloads rep posted on CAG about next week’s great deal. Everything activates on Steam.
edit: Also, Tony confirmed you’ll get individual keys, so you can give them away if you already have something.
Our Deal of the Week next week is stupid awesome.

Wait, what?! That’s an insane deal!
Holy guacamole, that’s a crazy deal, me likey!! Thanks for the heads up!
I started DD a few months ago and was enjoying it, but holy crap it’s difficult. I got to the second catacomb level and struggled to survive, and by the third level I couldn’t take on anything without dying. I must be doing something wrong obviously, either that or I suck at it.

I played DD a few months ago. I never finished it. I got beyond the catacombs and outside of town. I was wandering around the world and at some point I just didn’t know what I was supposed to do. I cleared out a cathedral which was tough and I think I was out of quests. I wandered for a while and then just quit.
The Game of Thrones RPG and RTS version is bundled for $17 something on Steam. Worth it? Thanks.
The Sherlock Holmes games are bundled up cheap on Steam. Anyone have any thought on the series?

Vs. Jack the Ripper is interesting, it tries to do some new things with the adventure game format (while still falling in some familiar pitfalls), and it’s easy to recommend to fans of Holmes, adventure games, and the Ripper mythos, especially for $5. Skip the rest.
Really Big Sky is the latest $10 or pay what you want from IndieGameStand. Pretty great games coming out of this site so far!
RBS is an excellent game y’all. Totally totally fun and awesome.
Ubisoft sale at gog. Includes heroes of might and magic 1 to 5 and might and magic 1 to 9
Strategy First has a 29 game bundle for $9.99:

That SFI deal is amazing even if you only own a fraction of those games. Space Empires IV is considered one of the best in the series, Sub Command is fantastic, I really liked O.R.B. a lot, and the Disciples and Jagged Alliance packs are just gravy.
