Indie gala 10 is up. Sadly no android games this time. The only game I’ve heard of in the bundle is Majesty 2, which I already own.

And- You’ve never heard of Hearts of Iron?
I’m sure most of us have one version or another of HoI. I think I have a D2D copy of HoI 2 Armageddon or whatever. One of those games that I thought would scratch my grognardy itch, but when I booted it up and started to work my way through the manual, I was like “heh” and never played it again.
I have nearly every game in this new bundle. Yipes.
Thanks for posting the link, I still haven’t figured out an easy way to cut and paste on my phone.
Hearts of Iron: Not really. I’ve read the name and heard it in passing, perhaps on an episode of the Three Moves Ahead podcast. But I’ve never clicked on a thread with that title or know anything about it. I think it is by Paradox maybe?
Hmm… I expected at least one in the next Gala to be something Halloween/Horror themed.
Are there any teasers/spoilers for the extra bonus games?
I’m not sure I’d consider many of those “indie” games. Majesty 2, EU Rome Gold, East India Company, HOI 2 and Elven Legacy are all games I’d consider releases from established developers, not indie fare.
That’s not to say the games aren’t awesome, those five alone are easily worth spending $20 on as a bundle, and getting all 5 plus 7 additional games while only spending $6 minimum is an absolute steal. Any ONE of the 5 games listed above is worth $6 on it’s own.
It’s HoI 2. I made the same mistake.
The big WW2 grand strategy game from Paradox, yeah.

Picked up Lost Planet 2 for £6.99 from gamestop downloads. Fancied this for a while but always seemed to be £20 on Steam etc.
Early heads up from Amazon’s Tony on CAG of some nice sale bundles coming next month:
We won’t be matching that due to upcoming promotional plans…like DA:U+DA2+Mass Effect 1+Mass Effect 2 for $14.99 and KOA + All DLCs for 80% off ($11.99).
I’ve given up waiting for KoA to go on sale on Steam, and so I’ll be picking up the Origin version this time from Amazon.
The Steam version of KoA may never go on sale, being as that version was owned by 38 Studios separate from EA and thus is now the property of what is most likely at this point the bankruptcy trustee…and then the state of Rhode Island will own it and unless they can find a publisher to buy it from them at tenths of pennies on the dollar, it’ll likely sit and languish on steam at full price indefinitely.
I repeat myself but what the heck:
Yes that is the reason I bought it full price on Steam shortly after the bankruptcy of them.
I spent over 100 hours in it + the 2 DLC and to me it was totally worth it.
I assume it will simply vanish from Steam one day or stay there forever. I wouldn’t count it going on sale ever though.
On Origin it’s a steal though if you can bear EA’s service.
Great, except that the two DLC on Steam, do require the EA servers and an EA account.
3rd-party DRM: EA Access
Speaking of EA, Amazon is having a big sale on their Need for Speed and Burnout games ahead of the Most Wanted launch the 30th of this month. NFS: The Run is $5. There’s a Bundle with both Shift games and a couple other NFS games for $12, but the pick of the litter is an $8 bundle with Burnout: Paradise Ultimate and NFS: Hot Pursuit.
Most should unlock on Origin, and all will net you $5 off a Most Wanted preorder.

do you get a cd-key with an amazon download? if so, dirty canadians can’t games from amazon.com so i’ll need a willing qt3er if anyone’s up for it i can paypal em. pm me.
You can just create a new amazon account using a us billing address while using your canadian credit card. They don’t cross-check the credit card billing address. Tip: use an address somewhere in new hampshire to avoid the sales tax. I started with a seattle address, got charged sales tax -WTF and switched to NH.
GMG is selling Borderlands 2 for $39.99 , toss in the 20% code and it comes out to $32.
