This also gave me some weird World of Tanks promo, check your email!
I assume you need to provide Microsoft with your credit card details for purchase?
If so I’m out. :p

So is Origin - I’m not linking to the sale itself because the country code makes up half the URL, but there’s a “Mystery Sale” link clearly visible on the front page. 50% off lots of titles, not just EA stuff.
Kingdoms of Amalur DLC included in the sale. The game itself isn’t. My top picks (if I didn’t own them) would be Mass Effect 3 and The Secret World, €15,= each.
From the fine print: sale lasts until November 4; only available in Russia, Poland, UK, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Germany*.
*In Germany, discounts on Sims Supernatural and Battlefield 3 are lower.

No, you can come up to Redwest C and drop your untraceable cash monies in a slot there.

SPAZ for $2.49 on steam seems pretty good bargain wise. Steam says I spent 139 hours on it :P
Darkness 2 is back to $5 on Amazon. Still unlocks on Steam.
WOW! Thanks a ton! On my way then (will put it on my new system which I will buy soonish).
Edit: Worked flawlessly. The Windows 8 Upgrade program checked my Win7 (work) computer, listed which programs will work / not work.
After having entered my registration data (I created a new Windows Live account / Hotmail account as Windows 8 will run a lot over it) and paying via Paypal I ended up with a downloaded ISO file and the upgrade key.
w00t, thanks. $5 is cheap enough for me to try it out.

Out of curiosity, can you remember what was in the “not work” list?
I ran the tool again and made a screenshot.
Keep in mind this is my standard work laptop with mainly Office and a few players / viewers on it. Nothing fancy.
I ran Windows 8 preview in a Virtual Machine to have a look a while ago. Usually it’s not on the machine.

In our office, I run into an issue with Kaspersky having to be disabled ahead of time which I suppose is pretty common sense to disable your anti-vir software before upgrade.
Other than that, I’m amazed that there has been no issues with Adobe CS, Visual Studio, MS Office 2007/2010 (yah, you would imagine these would work, but you never know).

Anyone else having trouble buying things from GMG? I’ve always used Paypal in the past but it’s failing after going through the Paypal login (not authorized or some crap).
On a whim, I tried one of my Visa cards but that didn’t work. Wasn’t really expecting it too since I know lots of people have issues with it being a foreign transaction. Really anxious to grab Dishonored for $35 (after 25% and my Xcom credit).

Speaking of three letter acronyms starting with GM, boardgame publisher GMT Games (publisher of Twilight Struggle, Labyrinth, Andean Abyss among many others) is holding their Fall sale until November 9. http://www.gmtgames.com/news.aspx?showarticle=253
25% off of anything in their catalog, and if you’ve ordered anything from them through P500, you get n+1 games at 50% off.
They also have an amazingly generous “Tough Economy Special”. If you’ve lost your job since Nov. 1, 2011 and are still out of work, they will send you two games for free.
When I use my card on GMG, I have to go through the additional MasterCard SecureCode (or whatever it’s called) procedure. If I skip it, and I go through the charge anyway, but my card gets turned off :\
