Yeah, the Gamers’ Gate version is the only DRM free version. The retail version also requires Steam. Paradox originally were going to make it Steam only, but due to complaints from people in places with with poor internet services, such as rural New Zealand, decided to release a DRM free version through GG.

Picked up a bunch of DLC I didn’t have yet, thanks. I think the $5 DLC which is down to $1.25 worked with the 25% off coupon, but not the cheaper DLC. Still, I don’t mind feeding Paradox a few bucks every so often for this game, it’s fantastic.

I enjoyed it. Definitely worth it for $5. However, if you have an AMD card, don’t get it. It’s completely broken after the 3rd level on AMD hardware.

I really didn’t like War in the North. I was initially hopeful, but enemies just have too much damn health. Imagine Diablo where an enemy take 30 seconds to kill instead of 3. And the gameplay is hitting X a lot, then sometimes Y, and maybe using an ability every once in a while.

The production values are decent, I will say that.
