That’s an awesome deal! Thanks!
Thanks for the info. I’ll probably go to the giveaway thread with the ones I already own.
They also gave me a $5 credit to be used in Jan 2013, so that’s cool too. :)
Yeah, all these deals include $5 credit vouchers towards Amazon’s “Best of the Year” games in January. Last year that was good enough to get some games free when they were discounted to $5.
A deal just went live on Amazon for the retail version of StarCraft 2 for $20 as well.

It’s $20 off Starcraft 2.
$20 off $38.55 for SC2 which makes it $18.55.
You have to click that link he posted for an automatic “coupon” and go to checkout.
LOL - that said, it’s now $5 (the correct sale pricing), and looks like a great deal.
I need to block this thread somehow. You guys are crushing me with good deals.
It’s not going to get any easier. We’re just getting into bargain season.
Gamestop have launched a big sale, but a lot of it appears to be just matching offers on other site, e.g. Cities in Motion and Crusader Kings 2 stuff. They also seem to have a lo of game soundtracks, which seems to be a rather odd fetish in my view.

I have the base game of CK2 but haven’t played it yet. Are there any must have dlc packs I should get?
Thanks guys for the Amazon THQ deal. It’s still valid right now, and what great timing as I just received a $10 gift cert from a vendor at work for attending one of their webinars. Looks like they just bought me Metro 2033 and Space Marine, both of which were on my wishlist, plus all those others extra games and possibly another free game in January since I got the $5 credit with the order. Not a bad haul for $10!
Groupees.com has started Build-a-Bundle 4.
Pay what you want but the minimum goes up 75 cents per game you select from the bundle.
Steam keys:
Stellar Impact
Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood
Men of War (recommended)
Fantasy Wars (recommended)
Velvet Assassin
Desura/DRM free:
Zombies (“zombie” game about shooting one’s way through soulless corporate bureaucracy in lo-fi pixel art)
Orczz (some sort of tower defense game)
Vitrum (first-person puzzle platformer)
Qasir al-Wasat: A Night In-Between (stealth game where you are a frail invisible spirit summoned for the purposes of assassination - this one looks really cool.)
Rock Paper Shotgun discussed Zombies, Qasir al-Wasat and I -think- they’ve had coverage of Vitrum. The bundle also currently includes some music, and will throw in Insecticide (steam key) if they sell another 100-ish bundles. One more unannounced goal may throw in some other bonus.
Stellar Impact isn’t worth $0.75. Just sayin’.
I did write a review entry saying what a horrid time I had with the game maybe 4 months ago. ;)
Qasir al-Wasat looks great. Buying that one & Velvet Assassin. Any opinions on Orczz?
I enjoyed Insecticide, but it’s actually an incomplete game. Once you’re done you can see the cutscenes they did for the 2nd on youtube.
Link?
Sword of Islam. It adds a bunch of new places on the map. The next one to get would be Legacy of Rome.
The others are a mixed bag but they’re all pretty cheap, especially when you grab them on sale.

I liked it personally. It had some issues when i played, like some lag spikes, but was pretty fun.
The ship classes also aren’t very unique.
