It’s Steamworks? That’s surprising considering it’s also GFWL. Good to know, thanks!

My only reservation is that I promised myself that I would finish Demon’s Souls first and I’m still stuck on theboss in 3-1 in that one. If this was a console sale, I’d probably go for the purchase, since the window on sales that good tend to be pretty limited, but digital PC sales might not be as time sensitive. Perhaps the game will be on sale again this time next year? If so, that will give me some time to tackle the first game.

It’s been on sale a bunch of times and my guess is it will be fairly easy to get it in the 15-20 range for a long while.

Assassin’s Creed 3 on 360 is going to be only $25 on the Microsoft store according to CAG’s Black Friday thread. Very tempting, especially after listening to both Tom and Jason be so enamored with the game on the Qt3 podcast.

So the Torchlight 2 dev confirmed there will be a sale. Based on when it started in previous years, the best guess is 11/21. However, Valve likes to do things a little differently every year and they usually call it a Holiday Sale or something (prior years were give and get and the coal one) so they might let it drop back a week like they did for the July 4 sale this year. Still, I’d say it’s most likely to start either tomorrow or 11/21.

Yeah, lots of things on sale on Gamersgate. If anyone likes Settlers, that style of game, then a couple of the Cultures games are in the sale. 8th Wonder of the World is the most recent of the series: http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-8THWONDER/8th-wonder-of-the-world

The Cultures games are great, and of course they’re related to Diggles/Wiggles, the best game ever - same engine but no 3d view, and no dwarves, just vikings (bah!).

So TODAY might be the start (we will know in 1 1/2 hours if they start the same time they did all their sales before)
