I agree with everything Gorath said here, Flames of Vengeance was perfect for me overall, but I still really enjoyed the whole DKS package.

I liked TRoT but found it a bit too slow paced for me and ended up getting a little bored with it.
It’s the complete antithesis of KoA: Reckoning which I just started playing yesterday.

Is this what Steam calls the Director’s Cut? I don’t see Div2: Dragon Knight Saga listed on Steam.

Nice overview of the various games, Gorath. Enjoying TRoT btw, though haven’t gotten far. Very polished indeed.

Its interesting: I feel more motivated plunging in to TRoT, knowing that its about 30 hours, than I feel starting out in a Bethesda RPG. I love the concept of an open world, but the reality is that I appreciate knowing there’s a end in sight.

Yep, thats it with a few added things thrown in.

River of Time, Risen, Dragon Knight and Two Worlds II also all have demos…

GMG winter sale is now on. Chivalry is currently $19.99, plus a 25% off code, making it around $15.

Yeah, Risen 2 is $15, $11 with the code.

Gamersgate just turned off the 15% IGN discount. Boo.

It’s still $9.99 at the moment, and holy crap that’s a good deal as it also includes Sword of the Stars II!

I picked this up as SotS II is $9.99 by itself on Steam. If anyone wants my extra copy of the first SotS game included in this package, just PM me.
Edit
Key has been taken.

Anyone want a Dota 2 key? Assuming Valve hasn’t given one to everyone in the world yet…

Never mind. Second time’s the charm, apparently.

Kingdoms of Amalur is at $19 on Origin:

Is it worth it?

No. Wait for the Amazon deal to come back this Monday and grab it plus the two DLCs for $12.

KoA is currently $8 at Gamefly.

Are DLCs worth it? :)

Pick any 2 games for $15:

Civ V GOTY
CIV V G&K
SpecOps: The Line
Lego Batman 2
Space Marine
Serious Sam 3

Been playing it since yesterday and now I’m sad 38 Studios went belly-up, really having a good time with the game, looks great and is very easy to get into.
I also have both DLC’s but haven’t got to that content yet.

Definitely worth $ 8.00 that’s for sure.

EA never has sales on DLC do they?

Thanks, man.

I am not sure about Gamefly though. I never used them before and I am not really sure I want to add another service (I already have Steam, GMG, Gamespot and Origin). Sigh.

Oh, does the game get activated on Origin or something?

Depending on where you buy it, the Gamefly version activates on Origin
