A very tempting deal, but i keep coming back to the fact that there is only one game on the system that i’m really interested in and who knows if it will be abandoned by sony like the PSP was. Assassin’s Creed Liberation also seems to have mixed reviews.

This year I finally decided to be patient and wait for Black Friday. I just picked up Dishonored, XCOM and ACIII all for 50% off (averaged) from Amazon. I even got the XCOM savings off the wait list.

The Amazon Plentiful Paradox Pack mentioned just above in this thread includes SotS and SotSII for $10, and you can also add the DistantWorlds+expansions sale which is still on at Matrix until mid-January.

Transformers: War for Cybertron is part of today’s daily deals on Steam. $5. I enjoyed it enough to recommend for the price, but multiplayer is pretty dead.

I haven’t tried it myself, but some people I know thought it was awesome.

They also recommend Bad Rats and Secret of the Magic Crystals, so… I wouldn’t really trust them. ;)

I bought nexus, one of the best space games ever made, for $2.50 from steam.

I actually still have my original cds somewhere, but i can’t remember if it came with a cd key or if it was one of the key-less games. If it did have a key, maybe i will force it on my friend in the hopes of converting them.

Yup. Normally when they wanted to get around the 15% discount they would change it to 15% more blue coins (10 blue coins to a penny!) but now I guess they’re just disabling it for the sale entirely.

Unless they killed it outright.

Yup. Lifetime. The same as 'you can download this game for your entire lifetime" means “you can download this game until we decide otherwise.”

I don’t think I ever once used my discount, so I probably have no room to complain.

I’m disappointed but not surprised; it was too good to be true. I did think they’d go to only blue coins for longer before they killed it totally.
