I would say it’s worth it to play both. City didn’t make Asylum obsolete or anything like that, they nailed the vast majority of mechanics on the first try. City mostly expands everything in terms of content instead - more villains, open world, more gadgets, Catwoman stuff, etc.
I’d agree with those who say the first Batman game is a little better. It hangs together better.
Also, Carrier Command has a demo which probably does show the AI in its current state.

Anyone up for a sins 4 pack? I’d also be interested in a copy of torchlight 2 as well, if there are any slots left.
I’m interested, if any are still available.
I’m going to grab Torchlight 2, so if anyone wants an extra person for a bundle let me know sometime fairly soon.
As for Carrier Command, I noticed someone put together their own AI mod for the Walrus AI which seemed a vast improvement, but the latest official patch broke it, although they are trying to fix it still from what I can see of the forums. I’d say wait for a while longer.
Thanks for the heads up on this. It is still extended, and its unclear to me for how long. My question, Warren, is: did you spring the ‘extended download service’? Bugs me we would have to pay for that.

Krazykrok and Pogue, are you guys up for a 4 pack? If no one wants the last slot, I’ll just take it to give to a friend.
I’d go in if you need a fourth.
I appreciate the offer but I was able to get in on lord_pall’s pack. Thanks all the same.

Ok, my 4-pack for Torchlight 2 is closed. I’ll PM folks the details.
I’m still interested in a Sins 4-pack if there is interest.

Any deals out there for either of the console systems? I think my X360 #3 is about to bite it - increasing amount of unreadable discs (which were fine previously) and freezing. :/
I’m a bit partial to 360 just due to my XBLA investment, but if there was a fantastic deal on a PS3 that’d be fine too.

Wow 25$ is cheap enough for me to jump on xcom I think.
Another update on active Amazon Download deals. New Cyber Monday deals added below:
Note, the NFS: MW and BF3 deals above are returning, 2nd chance deals for Cyber Monday. New deals include
XCOM: Enemy Unknown for $24.99 (Steam)
Syndicate for $4.99 (Origin)
Kingdoms of Amalur and all DLC for $11.99 (Origin)
LEGO Harry Potter 1&2/LEGO Batman 2 pack for $13.99 (Steam)
Prices updating now, so if you don’t see it reflected at first give it a few minutes.
Both had decent bundles at $199 for the weekend that included hard drives and 2-4 good games, but it looks like that price was a Friday/Saturday only thing as I don’t see anyone still offering them at that price.
Yeah, I thought I was safe until Christmas pretty much! These sales are so damaging that I’m toying with literally just going with a “No more buying until you’re done with your backlog” rule. In which case you should see my next post sometime in the mid-2020’s.
