I noticed on GOG that The Book of Unwritten Tales is 50% off today. Is this game worth buying?

I totally fell out of love with this game. Somebody either here or at The Other Forum [tm] described it as “like starting every time with the worst saved game ever” and I wholeheartedly agree. Grind for a couple of hours against a sadistic RNG, then face off against a terrible boss monster regardless of whether or not the RNG was kind to you.

Greed Corp – Turn based strategy (I thought it was well done, but never hooked me)

Hamlet – Weirdo adventure game? (I saw middling reviews)

Bit.Trip Runner – Endless runner, bit.trip style

Conquest of Elysium 3 – Turn-based strategy fantasy (this is what I bought the bundle for!)

Leave Home – Abstract shooter

They Breathe – Bleak, artsy frog game?? (Anyone played this?)

There’s a minimum to pay that usually hovers around $5.

All I want is CoE and I dont even want it that bad. Maybe I should wait for 75% off at steam? What do you guys think.

For me, this became a non-issue once I found out Steam now allows custom icons for non-Steam games. I’ll take the GOG DRM-less version every time!

Mentioned this when the overall sale started, but the current week’s Indiefortbundle includes Hegemony Gold: Wars of Ancient Greece. Based on the 3MA episodeabout it and the hour or so that I’ve put in so far, I’m confident in saying that it justifies the $4 by itself.

Of this round of Indiefort, Hegemony and Caster. Strategic War in Europe and Zombie are both on Greenlight and (Supposedly) Steam keys will be added on Gamersgate when/if they get get greenlit.
