Dead Island GOTY for $4.29 at GMG with code “WINTR-SRVEY-42012”, activates on Steam.

I don’t know about XCOM, but I doubt Walking Dead will go lower than $10. I think title has been given a new reason for “premium” pricing thanks to winning the Spike VGA GotY.

Holy cats, nice. This is one I didn’t expect.

$10 is my no-questions-asked price for Walking Dead. Sold.

Wow, thanks for this. Love open world games even though I’m not a zombie fan, so been waiting to snag this one for a while.

Chivalry is $12.50 on Greenman Gaming, more like $8.50 with WINTR-SRVEY-42012. Steamworks. One of my games of the year, easily.

Dead Rising 2 is $10 on Gamersgate, I know there was some interest in this game earlier.

Kingdoms of Amalur Collection $15 on Gamersgate. Ties to Origin. Decent game.

Lost Planet 2 is $10. Great, wacky action game.

Let no haters deter you from this game. I’ve played through this twice and enjoyed the hell out of it.

Life’s too short to risk a bad game. Let the hate flow to help save us all some time on marginal games.

Not that Dead Island is that way. I haven’t played it. But I have to stand up against your disdain for haters.

P.S. Haters don’t faze Brian Rubin anyway.

Yea same here. I’ve been holding out on the DLC

So here’s a question about that Dead Island GotY–I’ve already got Dead Island on Steam–if I bought this package, would I still get the DLC or is it tied to this separate license? That’s one for the Talmudic game scholars, I think.

Everything I’ve heard is that the DLC is rubbish anyway.

I got really excited for a second and read this as Dawn of War 2 GOTY. I went and entered the code into Steam to get the message “you already own this game”. Doh! Now I wasted the code too. I could have given it to someone on Qt3. :( I’m an idiot.

Holy crap, that Humble THQ Bundle has turned into the best $5.61 I may have ever spent. SR3, CoH Gold codes, Metro 2033, Red Faction Arm and DLC, and now DoW GOTY. Amazing.

Yeah, an amazing deal. A few more like this and I won’t have to buy any games until 2014. Heck, I have enough of a backlog now to last me until 2014.

But why have a backlog of 20 games when for another $20 you can add another ten? And on and on.

If Steam tells you you already own the game tied to the code, it should still be good for someone else to use.

Dead Island sucks, I’d unplay it if I could. It seems to work like a single player MMO, which is doubly pointless.

I liked dead island personally. It reminds me a lot of that wii dead island, except good.

It isn’t the best game in the world, but above average and fun gameplay.

Oh wow. Thanks for saving me Pogue. I’ve been tempted by it since last Summer when Chick and McMaster spent all summer talking about it on every episode of the Qt3 Games Podcast. But now it all makes sense! They love MMOs. And so many of their comments are coming back to me now. Single player MMO! I’ll stay far, far away now. Thanks buddy! I owe you one.

I just bought this since I really wanted the original Dawn of War games on Steam … and realized its just the base game, no expansions. Oops. If I had known, I would have paid $6.00, not $8.00.

In any case, I’m looking forward to SR3, and Child’s Play got a few bucks.

I don’t like MMO’s but I very much enjoyed Dead Island. Part of that came from playing with a friend, though, and I’m not sure how much I’d like it if I just played by myself.
