As a huge KoTOR fan, I played it on 360 years go (in Xbox compat mode) and thought it was pretty good. I would rebuy if my backlog wasn’t already huge.

Huge GoG “End of the World Sale” for the next 24 hours:

All past daily deals + a shit load of more on sale

Special note:

“Jumpin’ Indie Action Bundle”

contains:

LA MULANA
MUTANT MUDDS
GIANA SISTERS: TWISTED DREAMS
SNAPSHOT
CAPSIZED

“Capsized” (released today) is -75% if the whole package is bought instead of the -50% it currently costs alone. Giana costs $3.74 US in that package which is crazy it being a quite new release (Kickstarted).

The “Santa Snapped” Pack gets bonus points for the name :)

BLOOD (ONE UNIT WHOLE BLOOD)
BLOOD 2: THE CHOSEN + EXPANSION
PAINKILLER BLACK EDITION
CARMAGEDDON MAX PACK
POSTAL 2 COMPLETE
POSTAL: CLASSIC AND UNCUT

Santa really has issues! ;)

A warning about Jade Empire:

I bought it on a Steam sale a couple of years ago. There is apprently no way to get it to run under Vista. I do not know if it will run under Win 7 or 8.

Made by the people who made both Settlers 2 versions, old and new. A lot of genre fans say that Cultures since game 2 is actually slightly better than the Settlers series.

BTW what’s a euro?

The current German try for world domination. ;) Free trade inside the EURO zone (a gazillion old world countries) without the need for currency conversion. Very comfortable … and great for an export nation.

1 EUR ~ ca. 1.25 - 1.35 $US (floating). EUR end customer prices always include ca. 20% sales tax. Paying in $US (plus sales tax … or not) is often cheaper, if the option is available.

Seems the sale killed DotEmu. Getting a “Site off-line” message attempting to go there.

Saw this on Slickdeals.net:

$50 iTunes gift card for only $40 at Walmart (email delivery)

I hope it will run under Windows 7. I already bought it. However if not, it is only like 3 dollars and change spent.

Thanks so much! I don’t own any iTunes related things but this will make a great Christmas gift. Now I just have to figure out a fancy way of wrapping an emailed gift code. Hmmmm.

Also, Jade Empire doesn’t have gamepad support.

I played the first quarter of Jade Empire pretty recently. I’m pretty sure I was using Win7x64 at the time. It was definitely via Steam.

Walmart rejected my purchase. Slickdeals shows half he people are having problems. Christmas is ruined! Hope other people can get through.

new humble bundle thing.

Ready to be entertained all winter long? Let’s hope so, because the Humble Indie Bundle 7 is here and comes with six amazing indie games and one incredible movie! Pay what you want for The Binding of Isaac (plus Wrath of the Lamb DLC), Closure, Shank 2, Snapshot, and documentary film Indie Game: The Movie!

http://www.humblebundle.com/

If you pay more than the average, you’ll also get Dungeon Defenders (and a ton of DLC) and Legend of Grimrock! And most of the games come with soundtracks, available in both lossless (FLAC) and MP3 formats! Check out the site for more details!

Looks like a good bundle. Picked that one up.

Dungeon Defenders + DLC hasn’t been available for less than $12.50 up till now. Add Grimrock and Shank 2 into the mix, plus a potential secret addition later (speculation is FTL because it has a Linux version), and that looks pretty nice on a bang-for-buck basis. Dungeon Defenders is apparently pretty love-it-or-hate-it, though.

Grimrock will probably be $3.74 at some point during Steam’s winter sale.

My hand sure hated it. Ow from all that clicking…

This Humble Bundle is fantastic for me, usually in these promotions there are only 2 or 3 games max. that I don’t have yet, but in this bundle the only game I already had was Binding of Isaac. Looking forward especially to Legend of Grimrock and Shank 2!

Mine was too - figured it was just a Chase glitch or something but I guess not.

Is there some way to send the Steam codes on those Humble bundles to someone as a gift? I don’t see it anywhere.

Buy a gift copy of the bundle. You’re explicitly not supposed to gift individual parts of a bundle you bought for yourself.

Yeah, I found it…it was hiding behind Noscript.
