** At least I think it’s new!

The code is new and it pushes “Borderlands 2 Season Pass” to 21 EUR for example.
Cheapest I have seen apart from the brief glitch at Steam when it was available for 9.99 EUR until it was fixed (missed that one).

FWIW I bought Jade Empire last year and it ran fine on my Vista64 system.

Do Battlefront games ever go on sale? I’d like to own the newer Battles for Normandy but I’m not paying full price with that shitty DRM scheme in place.

Shitty DRM scheme? Do tell…

I think Battlefront games have a limited number of online activations? Did they get rid of that or something? If so, that combined with payed patches pretty much guarantees I will never buy anything at full price from them.

“paid patches”…your kidding, right?

Nope. The earlier Combat Missions don’t work under Vista-forward. Battlefront patched the games… but asked for $5 for the patches.

Kind of when I stopped worrying about Battlefront games as well, to be honest.

I see they just released a $10 “upgrade” for CM recently. I suppose you could think of it as DLC but it sure looks like a patch to me. Gah. I’d really like to play Battle for Normandy too.

Edit: Sorry for the small derail.

It probably took a lot of man-hours to recode the games to run in post windows xp environments. I can’t blame them for charging for the use of their time but i would have approached things differently -----> released a gold pack or something with discounts for past owners to upgrade, new maps to go with the patch so at least the old owners won’t feel shafted for paying for patches.

Ridge Racer Unbounded and Rayman Origins are both 7 dollars on GMG (each).

Yay or nay?

Rayman Origins is arguably the best 2D platformer ever made. It’s also $10 on Xbox Live today. Whichever one you get be sure to play it with a controller.

Based on your post, I just downloaded it again. It still won’t run (crashes on attempt to open) on my Vista64 machine. This is in spite of the fact that I have completely reinstalled Vista and all updates since the last time I tried it.

About 15 minutes until the big show.

Must - look - away - from - hypnotic - beard!
