Space ship building time!

Kerbal Space Program 25% off until midnight December 24th.

So much rage. I paid $21 for it. Bah!

The Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning deal with all DLC for $11.99 is back at Amazon. Unlocks on Origin and goes through Sunday.

They worked fine on my Windows 7 laptop. I had issues with CMBB and CMAK on my old Vista machine, but they were graphics card related. I haven’t tried them on Windows 8 yet.

It’s a collection of funny game mechanics - and it takes a dozen hours at least until you realize there’s not that much meat on its bones. Until then, you’ll be experimenting with medieval medicine, weapon crafting, crime & punishment and the like, while following a set of pretty ridiculous quests. For me it was really enjoyable.

Edit: forgot to add - today’s PSN EU deal is worth mentioning: Hitman Absolution, 50% off.

My only suggestion if you haven’t already is to make sure you turn off UAC, which I did long ago.

A few EA games for Android are one sale for some indefinite amount of time. Plants vs Zombies, Tetris, and Dead Space are all $0.99

Gamer’s Gate is doing a buy-4-get-1 thing, which isn’t that remarkable. However, they’re also doing the Indiefort bundles (there has been one a week for the last five weeks, each one you buy gets you $1 off the next one, cumulatively). You can COMBINE the two bargains and potentially get two games free, provided the second game is < $4 (which is the list price of the bundle).

They have a few interesting things in the $1-$3 range that are worth picking up if you don’t have them (Like Master of Orion 1 + 2 for $2 something).

Well then, you’re special. Most everybody, including myself, had all sorts of hassle running CMBB/CMAK on Vista and above. CMBO, on the other hand, worked fine, which is bizarre since it was the first game on the old engine.

Thanks Brad. I missed that the first time around, and will jump on it this weekend. $12 is a bargain, even if I don’t have time to play until spring.

Well my laptop just has an integrated Intel HD graphics chip. I seem to remember an from old thread on the Battlefront board that it was Nvidia’s Vista drivers that were causing the issues, but ATI/Radeon users were able to run OK. Perhaps the paid for patch/upgrade addressed those issues. But, yeah, CMBO remained remarkably resilient whatever Microsoft, Nvidia nd ATI threw at it.

Today is triple station cash day for Sony mmos. But if you buy a $15 card at Walmart you get $20 worth of points which triples to $60 worth. So walmart cards are worth 4x purchase price

DotEmu has another Christmas bundle. It’s 10 Euros (that’s the currency of Slovakia, apparently) for the “Make it Blow” pack:

Alien Vs Predator classic 2000
Cossacks And American Conquest games
Commandos Complete Collection
Earth 2150 Trilogy
Empire Earth - Gold Edition
Empire Earth II - Gold Edition
GORKY 17
UFO Trilogy

Good if you like old strategy games.

Swordchucks mentioned it a few posts earlier, but don’t forget to check out the indiefort bundle on GamersGate: http://www.gamersgate.com/indiefort-bundle

The gem of the bundle (to me) is Zafehouse: Diaries, a kind of zombie boardgame thingy.

I can’t find these on Google play, only on Amazon’s app store but they are full price. Is there some other android vendor I don’t know about?

They’re on the app store provided that they are compatible with your device I think?

Oh hey, it looks like inXile is giving away a copy of The Bard’s Tale to anyone who was a Wasteland 2 Kickstarter backer, as long as you log in to the Wasteland 2 website before the end of the year.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I already have Bard’s Tale so if anyone wants a free copy (and seriously, it’s a pretty decent game in the style of those Norrath PS2 hack 'n slashers) hit me up here or pm me, I’ll Santa Claus you a Steam code.

Edit: I neglected to update yesterday when the offer was claimed. There was more interest than expected!

Ah OK, maybe they are meant for tablets only? But Amazon doesn’t care and sells them to phone users as well?

Gamersgate is getting hammered because they’ve got a bundle just under $30 with just about every Bethesda game, including Dishonored and Skyrim. Most are Steam codes too.
