So I have $5 credit on Amazon Ubi Soft games which cost $4.99?

Ok, then…

Is there a way to buy this if I live in Europe?

Unit 13 for Vita on sale for $12.94 for PS Plus members. 1.2gb download.

Use a U.S. address.

It should be for Ubisoft cart totals $4.99 or more. Reposting Tony’s Ubisoft suggestions for AssCreed:

  1. Ubisoft will offer $5 coupons, good for PC Digital Ubisoft products on sale at Amazon.com (greater than $4.99) to every customer who purchased a Ubisoft product in 2012. Coupons can on 12/25 only
    a. Recommended pairings (none of these activate on Steam):
    i. Assassin’s Creed Revelations - $7.49 ($2.49 after coupon)
ii. Assassin’s Creed Revelations Gold - $13.60 ($8.60 after coupon)
iii. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Deluxe - $7.49 ($2.49 after coupon)

So I bought S7 because I didn’t want to be an idiot at that price. Once I start playing my game freezes. Not because of a PC issue but because my connection was slow? I thought I bought a single player RTS, not an online always game.

I got the promotional credit for $5 off 2K Games of $9.99 or more, starting tomorrow until Dec 31st. You guys will have to help me look for a good deal for that one once tomorrow rolls around. Hopefully it won’t be like EA Games where they get rid of the sales for the time period of the promo credit.

These bundles should still be available tomorrow at their current prices:

Damn, I hadn’t realized that I already own most 2K Games. I guess I just really like the games they put out. I already have Spec Ops: The Line, Bioshock 1 and 2, Borderlands GOTY, Darkness II, and vanilla Civ 5. All excellent games btw, all very different, and all very good. Hopefully they’ll have a nice big sale on Max Payne 3 tomorrow. That’s 2K right? Is the Civ V expansion worth it if I haven’t had time to go into the plain Civ V yet? (For Civ 3, the answer to that question would have been no to the first expansion, but yes to the second expansion, which greatly improved the main game by filling a lot of holes in the tech tree and making Civ 3 truly feel like the game it was meant to be from the beginning).

Max Payne 3 is a Rockstar game, whose parent company Take2 also owns 2K. But Rockstar games aren’t eligible for 2K’s $5 credit.

Civ V is much better with the Gods & Kings expansion. But G&K will probably go to $7.50 at some point during the Steam sale. Amazon may have it for $7.50 at some point too. It activates on Steam either way, so you can shop around.

Max Payne 3 is Take Two not 2K… damn, I thought you predicted my next purchase.

It IS only $15 right now though: http://www.amazon.com/Max-Payne-Online-Game-Code/dp/B008FPV88U?tag=cheapassgam08-20

But the Amazon rep on CAG says it’s over by tomorrow.

Are you certain it’s lag? It sounds more like a driver issue, or a performance issue. You seem certain it’s not a PC issue though, what makes you so?

Guess the email was wrong then…

“Thank you for your purchase of a Ubisoft Digital Video Game in 2012 from Amazon.com. To thank you, Ubisoft and Amazon would like to offer you a $5 credit towards any Ubisoft Digital Video Game Sold by Amazon.com and priced $4.99 on 12/25 only.”

Heh. Tony must have missed this. Seems like he’s been working round the clock (including Xmas eve and today) to get these end of year discounts together.

One for users of Amazon.co.uk - They have Xcom:Enemy Unknown for £14-99.

In case one of you got a Best Buy gift card for Christmas like I did: they’re having a post Christmas sale on some of their games. Black Ops 2, Halo 4 and Assassin’s Creed 3 are all $40 each. That makes Black Ops 2 cheaper than Modern Warfare 3. That’s so sad. I wish older Call of Duty titles would get cheaper faster. I really enjoyed what I played of MW3’s Spec Ops mode (their horde mode). But I’m not interested in their competitive multiplayer or the campaign. So I feel like it’s still way over-priced for just their horde mode. And apparently Black Ops 2 doesn’t have that mode.

… but Tom does go on about how he actually likes the campaign in Black Ops 2. And Jason McMaster named it his surprise of the year for 2012 because he actually enjoyed the campaign too. So I am tempted.

A lot of TellTale stuff at 80% discount on GOG. This time you don’t have to buy the whole shabang.

Battlefield 3 Premium is on sale for $30 today for the PC. That includes 5 expansions apparently, and a headstart kit for multiplayer. I’m tempted.

Well I used the $5 off coupon to pick up Spec Ops:The Line for $4.99. That’s a pretty good deal. Bioshocks 1 and 2 thrown in to boot.

Crusader Kings 2 Collection is $6.25 on GamersGate.
