I enjoyed Limbo a lot. Cool artwork and atmosphere. Good, if not terribly challenging puzzles. I’m not a big platformer but I can easily recommend this game, especially for $4.

I enjoyed LIMBO, but be aware that it is a short game. I burned through it in about 3 hours.

I really enjoyed Limbo a lot. It definitely has a magical quality in the first 2/3rds of the game that’s lost later in the game (though I did enjoy the last third of the game because I’m a fan of platformers, and I really enjoyed the challenge of the last third). Every time my niece and nephew come visit us, they always want to play Limbo, and I always forget just how gruesome and imaginative and cool the deaths are in this game. And how the game teaches you to play by killing you. And then you apply those lessons later, and the game kills you again for doing that, just to mess with you. The game really has a great sense of humor in that regard. (Though, again, only in the first 2/3rds of the game).

Yeah, what do people think of Dungeons Gold? I mean, I know it’s not Dungeon Keeper or anything like it, but any redeeming features? Anyone played it?

Pre-order Sleeping Dogs for $35 on GreenMan Gaming. Steamworks.

I’d be interested in opinions too here.

Whats weird is I just got an Email from Amazon saying my crysis2 purchase got me a $20 credit for Crysis2 max edition. Weird. Still wish it was for Steam despite owning it on Origin but I’m not paying $40 to get it there…

Origin and Steam will also knock $20 off Crysis 2 Maximum Edition if you already own the game on their platform. Since Amazon doesn’t have a client they’re handling it slightly differently.

Personally I’m not going to bother, though. I’m only in it for the singleplayer and the DLC doesn’t appear to impact that at all.

Binary Domian for $20 from GetGamesGo. Steamworks.

Is that actually any good? I’ve heard mixed things.

It’s good but it requires the use of Ubisoft’s UPlay crap, which isn’t exactly like the always-on DRM, but it is.

I’d advise getting Wargme: European Escalation which is by the same devs and better in almost every way with no Ubisoft bloat.

It’s my favorite real time strategy game of the last five years or so.

So… yes. It’s not on sale anymore, though.

Thanks.

Giaddon - Had a code. Not going to bother though.

Also, Humble Indy Bundle V

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Psychonaughts
LIMBO
Swordbrothers: Swords & Sorcery EP

Bonus game: Bastion

Noice. Grabbed…

Free Weekend for Worms Reloaded (also now $6.80) plus Saint’s Row 3 for $17 on Steam.

Dang, that’s a good bundle. I’d be all over it if I didn’t already own most of that.

Edit: It’s worth the “beat the average” price just for the Bastion soundtrack!

Yeah. I own every one of those games, but I’ll probably get the bundle just for the soundtracks.

360 Controller support as well. ;)

After playing it some more, it is really missing a save game feature. You have to start from the beginning each time. It only takes about a couple of minutes to reach level 10 and maybe 5 more to reach 20, but it is still a bit repetitive when you’ve played the same level over and over.

Now THAT is a deal I’ve been waiting on for a long time! Glad tomorrow is payday! :-)

I think it may almost be worth it to wait for Steam’s summer sale at this point. It usually is sometime in early July right?
