PSN version of Persona 4 Golden on Vita for $20

I ended up picking it up on the last day of the sale at $19, figuring I hadn’t grabbed much else and really wanting to dive into this. I’ve only peeked into the first chapter, but I don’t regret the extra couple dollars. What a beautiful weird game.

Better to buy this directly from the developer , same price, BUT it comes with:

Steam Key
DRM free version
Soundtrack
Newsletter

Crap, doesn’t Sony know we just had a steam sale…I’m not sure my wallet can take this.

Wow! I can’t resist that. Same price in the dev website. Thanks a million. Boughted.

I seriously did not know that P3:FES was a PS2 classic. That is kind of wonderful. There are so many games now that I don’t have to drag my PS2 out for now (the PS2 Ratchet & Clank series, which I picked up on the last sale for $7, comes to mind).

Ohhhhh…son of a b*tch! I literally just grabbed it on Steam a couple of minutes ago. I even went against my usually routine of coming in here first :(

New indie royale:

Antipole, Chester, Dead Pixels, Lasercat, Smooth Operators, Little Racers, Spyleaks, Orbitron

Thanks for the head’s up, I never even heard of this game but it looks like something I’d enjoy.

Hmm, anyone have positive experiences with any of these? Haven’t heard of them, and I’m trying to get away from buying indie bundles just because they’re there and cheap and might turn out to be good.

Dead Pixels is a fun little zombie survival shooter, but if that’s the only game that interests you you’re better off buying it a la carte since it has a $3 retail price. Most of those games have also been in other bundles, so if you’re an avid bundle hoarded you may have them without knowing it.

Dead Pixels is AWESOME, and I’ve really been enjoying Little Racers, dunno about the rest though.

Sorry Boojum, here’s more of them.

Upcoming.

The froggy game was interesting, but it’s very short (~30 mins iirc) and easier to watch in a Let’s Play or something unless you want the experience - in which case, it’d be better without spoilers. How is that Trainz thing?

I’m a big fan of the Trainz series (not to be mixed up with rail works / rail simulator). Started in 2001 on Windows and now also exists in a Mac version. Has a long history and great mod / add on community. Rail works has add ons too but WAY more expensive.

Like any of these rail sims, it isn’t really so much a game as a toolkit. You can make your own layouts, run scripted scenarios, just drive / look around. More relaxing / fun than anything assuming you are a train buff. If you aren’t, you’ll probably find the zillion different engines / cars / regions kinda boring.

If you are really into it and have decent photoshop or 3d skills, you can have lots of fun creating / posting content for the series.

Diego

If you missed it or passed on it during the Steam Summer Sale, Dishonored is currently $10.19 on GameStop (registers on Steam).

Speaking of, I have about 3 extra copies of Railworks 2013 I’m eager to distribute. Friend me on Steam (biosc1) if you want ;)

And if you get Railworks 2013, don’t forget to pick up the Train vs Zombies DLC. Yeah shut up, you probably thought zombies in the old west sounded dumb, and then Red Dead Redemption showed you how wrong that was.

Found in Sony online store on the Vita:

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment for $9.99 (PSOne classic, playable on PS3/PSP/Vita)

I cannot tell if this is discounted or not.

Just FYI on this bundle, it’s currently $2.98, and honestly both Tropico 3 and Patrician 4 are well worth $3 all on their own IMHO. I hear some folks are pretty fond of Jagged Alliance 2 as well. Best of all, you get 5 separate Steam Keys, so if you already own one of the games you can simply send a buddy the key from the bundle.
