The streets are unrealistically wide. You can actually weave through traffic in your car!
Otherwise, it gives a great impression on the various sceneries around HK, but not to scale.
You will enjoy this game, I’m sure.

The H. P. Lovecraft Bundle

An awesome collection of transmedia treats inspired by the writings and mythos of cult American horror writer H.P. Lovecraft, including film, indie games, e-zines, ebooks, audio books and more! For the as yet uninitiated, here is a good explanation of Lovecraft’s style from Wikipedia: ‘Lovecraftian horror is a sub-genre of horror fiction which emphasizes the psychological horror of the unknown (in some cases, unknowable) over gore or other elements of shock, though these may still be present… The hallmark of Lovecraft’s work was the sense that ordinary life was a thin shell over a reality which was so alien and abstract in comparison that merely contemplating it would damage the sanity of the ordinary person.’ Enjoy!

Nice little pack of stuff.

Oh, great… Next you’ll tell me I can’t tear up the streets in Manhattan just like in GTA4.

I have a 90% discount coupon off Serious Sam 2 in Steam. That makes Serious Sam 2 for only $1. Got it from crafting a badge. Anyone wants it? It expires 11 Aug.

Thanks for that one!

Picked up the Lovecraft bundle and I already own Cthulhu Saves the World, so I have a free Steam key for the first person to post here expressing interest. I’ll PM the key.

Cheers!

Ooh, I don’t have that one (thought I did). If you deem me worthy, I’ll take it. :-)

It’s yours, but you have to promise to come and join a game of Dom4 when it releases in the next couple of months! :)

PM sent.

Cheers!

haha I don’t see myself not purchasing Dom4, so that’s likely a promise I’ll be able to make!

I played a little bit of the beginning. Really fun so far.

The HK city atmosphere is very well done, but it’s nowhere nearly as crowded with people as the real thing, haha.

Personally I got a kick out of the food stands. I missed them IRL.

GMG has a Sonic Racing 4-pack, ends up being $3.75 each.

How does a GMG 4 pack work, everyone need a GMG account?

New indie royale up as well, nice deal for anyone who was interested in The Pit but missed Steam’s flash sale.

QRTH-PHYL.

This is so good! I got this on a whim and figured I’d get a laugh out of another terrible Sonic game, but it’s actually quite awesome. Probably the best kart racer on the PC.

I would gladly be part of a four pack for Sonic racing. Anyone have a group going?

Me too if someone else would like to organize one.

There’s an additional 20% off voucher on the GMG site (advertised in the Hot Deals section) that might apply to this as well.

By the way, since I complained about almost missing it before, the free game on Xbox Live right now is Crackdown. Not Crackdown 2, but Crackdown. I think a couple of the DLC are free also. Personally I’m not the slightest bit interested, but there it is. I did play my free copy of Fable 3 for a few minutes. It has John Cleese in it!

Crackdown is about 100 times better than Fable 3. Still one of the best games of this console generation. Also, you say “not 2” like that’s a bad thing. That’s actually a very good thing.

You can also get a physical copy for about $3. I let my live subscription lapse and this isn’t enough of a draw to get me to resub until the next gen hits.

I would be in on this deal as well if someone took the reins and started putting it together. Also, as Gigglemoo mentioned, there is a working 20% off voucher that brings the bundle to $12 even, so $3 per person. I have been really interested in this game but my backlog has always prevented me from jumping on it before, but for $3, I would hate to pass that up.

The working voucher code is: GMG20-4B9NY-L4FEN

If someone does organize it, just let me know who to Paypal and I’m in.
