You are correct.

Did you download and run your game? According to this thread, the game wants a 20 digit code to run: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/I-bought-Sims-3-through-the-humble-bundle/td-p/1387342/page/6

Ah, well, no I haven’t. That makes more sense. I wonder how they managed to overlook that little detail.

According to the help system, if you right-click the Sims game in Origin and click “Show Game Details”, your 20-digit code shows up there. I’m installing it now, so I haven’t verified this yet, but there you go.

In other bundle news: Satazius was added to the most recent Groupees, and people who paid $5+ for their Be Mine 8 (with Primordia & a bunch of others) now have Steam keys there for Guncraft.

sigh got the bundle. Now must resist going down the slippery path of snapping up Sims 3 expansions.

All codes redeemed successfully for Steam and Origin here just a few mins ago.

Same here. I didn’t bother redeeming the Steam stuff I owned on Origin, only the non-steam games.

Great bundle for me. It was literally like a list of stuff I don’t already own on Origin down to the fact that I have Dead Space 2, but not 1 or 3. I’ve also been meaning to snag Mirror’s Edge and Burnout Paradise forever.

Can anyone run down what exactly comes with Steam keys? I couldn’t find mention of that on the Humble site.

Look underneath the boxes on the front page.

Did a bit of googling and answered my own question – “and you can also get Steam keys for Dead Space, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Medal of Honor, and Mirror’s Edge!”

Oh yeah that, too. Thanks

New deals of the week up now on Amazon include a bunch of Capcom and Double Fine stuff.

3M right now and 12 hours to go.

Well, they are doing their best to dissuade you, by including the expansion pack (Late Night) that is so awful it made me kick my Sims 3 habit. The high rises look cool, but you’ll spend half the time riding on elevators.

The other two additional items (a stuff pack, retails for $20, and a mini stuff pack, retails for - i assume - $10) should teach you that everything in the Sims 3 store, apart from the freebies, is way overpriced.

And the best deals for Sims 3 expansions are during Steam sales, but they require you to have the game on Steam, which you don’t.

The base game is excellent though. As is this bundle - I got it just for Dead Space 3. And the slippery path you mentioned is lined with expansion packs that are much better than Late Night.

Actually, if the last Steam sale is anything to go by, the best deals for Sims 3 expansions are during Steam sales…but on Origin. They had the base game for $5, which was substantially lower than Steam, and then almost all the expansions were cheaper on Origin as well.

Sins of a Solar Emprire Rebellion is on sale at steam for $9.99, DLC is on sale too. Till 4pm today.

Was this released as a download only in the US? Boxed copies seem non existant. Guess I’ll try it on steam. Only played the original game.

Looks like Tropico 4 and all the dlc? Is 9.99 on steam. Is this worth picking up if I have Tropico 3. I hear they are almost identical.

They are. If all you want from Tropico 4 is more of Tropico 3, then buy it.
