That’s exactly why I grabbed it. Lazarus is looking very good but I’d be interested in opinions of anyone who’s played it.
So this shows up in my email a half hour ago:
The Humble Paradox Bundle Has Begun!
You’ve been demanding it for months, but we were too modest to make it happen… until now! The Humble Paradox Bundle will go live today, 8 p.m. CEST (11 a.m. PDT), and you can make a donation to your choice of worthy charities while picking up a bundle of Paradox favorites!
Of course, some of our fans aren’t very humble at all, and they’ll want to make a bigger donation. Which is why, if you donate more than $125, you get The Big Kahuna package… a copy of EVERY SINGLE PARADOX GAME on Steam (not including Europa Universalis IV or DLC packages)!
Let the humility commence! Find out all the details and pick up your bundle at https://www.humblebundle.com
They jumped the gun a bit, as it’s not live yet, but should be in a few hours. Details forthcoming!

The Amazon sale is HUGE, some good stuff if you dig through it. Cook, Serve, Delicious for $4.48 for example.

Didn’t it get fixed already?
Is Dungeon Siege III worth the price of admission? I watched a few gameplay clips on YouTube and it seems really fun, I like the interface and the way it looks - is it super buggy or shitty or something? What’s it’s “state of the game” right now, anyone know?
If by “fixed” you mean it’s now less buggy and has higher-res textures on PC but is still a super-awful Aliens experience, and a dull uninspired game overall, then yes.
I love, love, loved Dungeon Siege III and felt it was worth the $50 I paid back in the day, much less the $5 it’s going for these days. It’s gorgeous, challenging, has surprisingly complex and rewarding brawler-y combat and hands down the most nuanced, intelligent, and well written story I’ve seen in its genre. It has a rich sense of history that seems to be based on the previous Dungeon Siege games but the first, at least, never struck me as even having much plot or worldbuilding so I’m inclined to credit Obsidian primarily.
Caveats:
It isn’t anything like the first two games in the franchise, which to me is a good thing.
It is not an endlessly replayable loot grind Diablolike, which some people may be expecting.
The coop has some peculiar design decisions, like storing all characters with the host’s save (which means anyone can jump right into your game without having an appropriately levelled character of their own, but also means people pinchhitting will see no payoff to their own game(s)), and leashing everyone to one another so they stay on the same screen. I think the game’s better with a dedicated sidekick or three, but don’t expect to play with randoms and be warned about the leash.

I picked up DS3 for $5 a year or so back. Got about halfway through then wandered off, it didn’t particularly grab me. But I definitely got five dollars worth in those three or four hours.
I’d say it’s at least a 20-25 hour game, probably longer than that, especially with the DLC so I suspect you didn’t actually get halfway through if you were only four hours in. I could be wrong, though.

Good deal, worth it for Dungeon Siege 2 alone which is by far my favorite of the three, just mod it up for widescreen and it’s still a ton of fun.
I liked this one. Not the greatest game ever but enjoyable, especially in 2 player co-op which I played with my 9 year old.
It was definitely Obsidian’s most polished game and I thought the graphics engine and art design were great.
The different characters/skills played different enough from each other and challenge level was good but a bit inconsistent.
But the loot system was terrible. So much loot dropped and 97% of it useless! Wasn’t even worth selling it because there was not much to buy.
My experience was pretty much the same. There’s a demo available if you’d like to try it first.
I was really enjoying DS3, the fighting and loot are pretty well done. But I just hit a brick wall on the last boss of the DLC (which I was doing about half way through the game). For the life of me I just couldn’t beat it and thus never finished it.

I love Dungeon Siege 3! Malkav1’s points are all good, and I’d add to them that you’ll probably want a controller, although it’s playable without, and to stop and read what the different stats do (there’s an in-game manual). There are a ton of them, and tweaking them changes your character pretty dramatically. The #1 thing to keep in mind is that although people compare it to Diablo, it isn’t like Diablo: you have direct control over your character, only a handful of abilities, and there’s no incentive to replay it n+1 times.
It’s really good.
