It’s basically exactly like 2013, but with nicer graphics, new decks and the addition of Sealed Deck. It’s $5 ($10 if you buy the expansion pack), so it’s not like you’re taking a big gamble.

Are the cards and campaigns different, so its all new content?
You already have too many games to play! Wait until the Christmas sale, then it’ll probably have a “gold game bundle” with all the goodies around the same price the base game is now.
AFAIK. I mean, I haven’t compared the decklists one for one, but it’s the 2014 edition and expansions sets, so I believe so.
Teleglitch: Die More Edition is 75% off on Gamersgate (puts it at $3.25 USD). It’s a Steam activation code.
Yeah, you never had “proper deck building” in that series of games, and they sell well, so there isn’t lots of ground to complain.

Point taken. Sometimes I need a little sanity injected into my thought process. I will wait.
Don’t even wait for the Christmas sale unless you’re sure you’ll play it soon. Otherwise just wait for the 2015 edition! Serial releases like this are a godsend for my backlog because it’s so easy to hold off, or play one edition and skip the rest if the series is “merely good.” Grab hold of great opportunities like that!
Your friendly Steam shill here, filling you in while waiting for a meeting to start.

So hard, I died in the tutorial!
Such a great, yet brutally mean game.
This happened to me in Dreadmor. Ding Achievement Unlocked!
Putting on my Steam shill hat…
Daily deal is Omerta - City of Gangsters $9.99 (-75%). No deals on its DLCs.
Mid-week deal (just one?) is Ace of Spades: Battle Builder $5.09 (-66%). 4-pack for $15.29.
Not technically a bargain, but there’s a discount, so I can list it here!
Cook, Serve, Delicious! $8.99 (-10%). Just listed! Now who was talking about this game, and why?
Did they rename this? Wasn’t it just called “Ace of Spades” before?
Is it good, or at least worth playing, now?
Steam search finds only this one game, released Dec 12, 2012. I guess nobody noticed the subtitle before? I didn’t notice the game before… hee hee…
Yeah, the Steam discussion board confirms it. Ace of Spades: Battle Builder is what was just Ace of Spades before, except Jagex has folded the DLC into the main game and raised the base price $5 to make it $15.
Groupees is starting a 1C Megabundle at 3am EST. This’ll probably be quite a deal. I’m expecting 3 games of our choice for $1, with 4 or 5 extra bonus games with every purchase. (edit: I just asked someone I know who works with them. 25 freaking games)
They’ve also got another up right now for casual games.
I’ll be grabbing Luxor Evolved in that one when it’s down to 1 game minimum. Doubt the others’d interest most people here so I won’t bother listing them. Last day for their 7th Build a Bundle. Cheapskates can have Retrovirus, Zack Zero, Hydrophobia and Project Aftermath almost pay for themselves selling the Steam cards.

As an added bonus, changing the name removes the link to all the awful Metacritic scores it had before. In short, avoid.

Yep, the Ace of Spades on Steam is absolutely nothing compared to the original (also free) Ace of Spades that was making the rounds on the internet in 2011 and 2012. Don’t bother.
