Heh, upside-down search works.
Most people here probably already have these, but Gamestop Friday has:
Starcraft II, Starcraft II HOTS, $19.99 each
Mists of Pandaria, $9.99
And according to their ad, each of these comes with a free WOW time card. So, three months of WOW, plus the two SC games, plus Mists, for $49.97 plus tax? I’m in.
Aren’t the gamecards good for two months time?
Amazon is cheaper than Steam for all the games on my wishlist, except one…Driver San Francisco.
DMC isn’t on sale anywhere!!!
Can someone dig up one of those Steam sale aggregator sites and post it here again? I’m too lazy, and it’s easier to find those real bargains, like -80% type of bargains. Like Trine 1 for $0.99 -90%.
I use this site
http://www.steamgamesales.com/
but it appears the sale broke it
Newegg has Ni no Kuni for 15 bucks, cheapest I’ve seen so far. It’s a little too old-school (read as: slow & grindy) for my tastes; but it is freakin’ gorgeous and anything which encourages Studio Ghibli to collaborate on more games is A-OK in my book.
Exact opposite for me. You know you own too many games when your wishlist is down to oddball indie titles and expansions/DLC that aren’t even available on Amazon at any price. The few games on there that are on Amazon (AC Brotherhood and Revelations, Skyrim expansions, Shogun 2 expansions) are all cheaper on Steam. I’m holding out for 75% off, either this weekend or at Christmas.
As for aggregator sites, I really like SteamGameSales. You can check the boxes for other services (GOG, GG, Desura) too, and sort by price. I had $0.85 left on an old Visa gift card and just blew it on Shadowgrounds for $0.69. Hawt! =)
WHOOPS! Just noticed Exactive already suggested Steam Game Sales. So mark me down as seconding that recommendation. Also, it’s working fine for me at the moment…
Gone Home on Flash sale for $5!
I think I saw that in the Gamestop (friday only) flyer too if people don’t want to order online.
What’s your opinion of the Shadowfell content unbongwah, any fun?
LOL I bought this at the last sale, and I still haven’t finished it. Restarted it once, actually. (I blame Titan Quest.)
3 other flash sale:
$2.99 -80% Super Meat Boy
$9.99 -75% Prototype 2
$17.49 -75% RPGMaker VX. (Wow, pricey, but big drop. Build your own Chrono Trigger using lots and lots of tabbed panes!)

And I tried to play Gone Home and it runs like crap on my superfast system. Weird textures. Polygons don’t seem to meet correctly. I’m pretty disappointed.

In terms of Console game, Amazon has a handy page with a Holiday Sale Schedule. Some of the PlayStation games are even available as PSN codes, including GTA V for $33.99. The disc version was that price on PS3 and 360 but Amazon is currently out of stock, but not out of codes. Other notable deals:
Saints Row 4 - $29.99 (360, PS3, PSN)
The Last of Us - $34.99 (PS3, PSN)*
Beyond: Two Souls - $34.99 (PS3)*
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag - $34.00 (PSN Code, Eligible for $10 digital upgrade to PS4 version)
Call of Duty: Ghosts - $39.99 (360, PS3, PSN Code, Eligible for $10 upgrade to PS4 version)
Battlefield 4 - $34.99 (PSN Code, Eligible for $10 upgrade to PS4 version)
Puppeteer - $19.99 (PS3)
As a note, buying the digital versions of those PS3 games can get you the PS4 version cheaper than it currently sells for. Even if you don’t have a PS3 you can redeem the code through Sony’s Web Store and then buy the $10 upgrade on the PlayStation 4.
*Second note, The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls are both scheduled to be lightning deals for $25 at 3:10PM PST Thanksgiving Day.
Edit: fixed time for lightning deal.

If anyone’s interested in Legendary Heroes, pick it up on Gamersgate for $10 instead of Steam for $20

Origin doesn’t have BF4 Premium on sale?
