Tearaway for the Vita will be $20 at GameStop starting tomorrow.
Ah hell… Here I thought I was done buying games for Christmas.
So yeah, The Bureau is worth $14. Playing through on Veteran difficulty and having a blast.
Fantastic bundle on Bundlestars.com right now called Wars of Ages Bundle. $3.50 buys you some very worthy games including:
[ul]
[li]King’s Bounty : The Legend - First in the series, and worth $3.50 all by itself.[/li][li]Fantasy Wars - So maybe you already own King’s Bounty, well Fantasy Wars is a great little TBS game easily worth $3.50 by itself as well.[/li][li]Real Warfare 2 : Northern Crusades - A combination of RTS and grand strategy (in the vein of the Total War series), Real Warfare mixes in a quest system and some RPG elements to make an interesting if slightly flawed game.[/li][li]XIII Century Gold - Another Total War style game that is flawed but fun.[/li][li]Theater of War - WWII RTS[/li][li]Men of War - Another WWII RTS, this one allows you to jump into the action in FPS mode too.[/li][li]Death to Spies Gold - Fun as a Soviet secret agent during WWII[/li][li]Earth 2140 - Futuristic RTS. Includes 2 mission pack DLCs.[/li][/ul]
Pretty good deal all around for strategy fans at less than $0.50 per game. All Steam codes.
WARNING!! RED ALERT!!
It seems that Groupees is now pulling a Humble Bundle. Starting with this Groupees bundle, they use a third party service to distribute keys. Keys no longer get added/shown on/to your Groupees bundle page. You have to register and use http://shinyloot.com/redeem to get your keys.
Indeed, make sure to unsubscribe from the billions of shinyloot emails they send. I was like why are YOU emailing me!!!

Or maybe it could be that ShinyLoot is distributing keys for the ShinyLoot bundle, Chicken Little? I’ll hold out judgment for a few more bundles.

I like the way humble bundle distributes the keys now - except when I want to give my kids some of the keys (mostly because they are games I wouldn’t play). Then it’s a pain in the but. I’ve had several times where I’ve linked it to the wrong account. I know you just click the gift thing but since my kids are young and I control everything on their PC’s it often times auto-logs into my accounts and I screw it up. If they are all for me - It’s so much easier than copy-paste-activate.
Shiny Loot is a website that sells indie and bundle games. You can see what the have for sale outside of the Groupees bundle here. It would appear they have contracted with Groupees for this bundle, hence the clear disclaimer on the Groupees page about redeeming the keys via Shiny Loot. There is nothing inherently evil about Shiny Loot, though they do apparently love to email you every offer they can think of, so be sure to use your secondary email to register, the one you normally use when signing up for web stuff you know will generate spam.
It’s my understanding that after the Shiny Loot bundle ends Groupees keys will be distributed in the normal way once again, via the Groupees account page associated with your account.

Race the Sun is $2.50 on GOG, if you want to see what Tom was hyping.
How hard is it? I’m hesitant to try any of these kinds of games after I was such a disaster at Super Hexagon. That just made me want to abandon them all and never look back. But that doesn’t seem fair to Race the Sun. Is it as hard at normal difficulty as Super Hexagon where it’s impossible to even last for a minute?

Just bought Race The Sun, and I can say it’s pretty enjoyable. It’s definitely not hardcore like Super Hexagon – even if you die early on, which you will, you beat little achievements as in iPhone games and get upgrades and stuff. Plus you get a full day to master a course before it changes globally. Definitely worth the sale price IMO.

It’s fun and definitely not that stressful.

Easier than Hexagon, but still pretty hard. You will find a wall of difficulty but in two days, instead of 2 minutes.

The Matrix Games/Slitherine holiday sale has the amazing space 4x game Distant World and its expansions for ~50 euro/65usd.

As an added bonus, Race the Sun on GOG gives you a key to register on the dev’s website for multiplayer. When you register your copy of the game, you also receive a Steam key. Sale’s good for another 10 hours or so.

Oh, hey, cool. I was going to wait for a Steam sale because I needs me some Steam achievements, but if I get both from buying GoG? Definitely doing that.
That’s why I always use -forum- code to “cover” myslef. I did say; "seems". Eh, eh? ;-)
