Good thing it’s only Xmas, I’m sure they have all their tech guys working on it right now.

Top. Men.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is $5 on Amazon right now. Activates on Steam.

Great game, great price, and you can finish it in 5-6 hours. I paid $15 and it was well worth it. Scratches that spaghetti western itch.

I love my soldier’s PvZ bucket hat. Lookout! It’s a zombie with a bazooka!

Can you only get one $5 editor’s credit from Amazon?

You get one for each order you place on digital games before the end of the year, but you can only use one per order during the editor’s choice sale (ie: they don’t stack). Two years ago when Amazon was just getting into the DVG market this lead to a lot of free games being handed out, but last year they wised up and the sale was middling.

Wolf Among Us’ first chapter is free on Xbox Live this week (for Gold members only? I’m not sure on that one). And the rest of the episodes are selling for $10.04. That’s cheaper than Steam for the whole Season. But … it’s on Xbox 360. Since owning the PS4 and XB1, I never feel like firing up the old creaky 360 anymore. Not sure if I want to buy games for it anymore. The other one I’m tempted by in the Xbox sale is Brothers for $4.94. I think that’s cheaper than Steam too. But again, same problem.

Yep, I bought both because this is a great time to play games - the heat death of the last generation. Machines are working at the peak of their power and you almost can’t miss great deals on games. I am sure when I’m ready to make the generational leap there will be some kickass games waiting for me. Right now I like it right here.

Anyone know if there’s a site that will track Xbox games and notify you if one goes on sale? There’s a few windows / Xbox games that I’d rather get for Xbox because I don’t want to bother with rebooting my mac into Windows any more, but the Xbox web interface is completely awful (not that the actual Xbox one is much better).

You’ll be wanting this.

You could try setting up an account at www.cheapassgamer.com - - I think they have a price tracker. Don’t know how good it is, though.

Eh. It was mostly a repeat of stuff from the December sale. But yeah, without the massive bundles this sale, it will probably be pretty middling

I ended up buying nothing directly through Steam, and lots of stuff through GMG (registering on Steam).

Last thing is XCOM + expansion = $21.99

Oil rush is $3.99 on Green Man Gaming with an extra 20% off if you use GMG20-ZB5D1-93X49 at checkout. Steam activated.

Expansion XCOM enemy within is $15 at GreenManGaming: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/strategy/xcom-enemy-within-na/

I’m not getting it until it is ultra cheap (<= $5) so I didn’t get it, so I can’t say for sure if the 20% coupon can be used.

The old Sierra game with the dinosaur?

Same here, the main game didn’t catch me enough, but I am willing to try it again with this dlc once it hits the cheapness of my liking.

Unepic is $4. It’s a pretty nice metroidvania, though I haven’t finished it yet. Too many games to play.

New humble bundle up.

$1+
Penny arcade 1-2

$6+
Penny arcade 3-4

The ebooks included are collections of their old comic strips.

A 3 & 4 bundle goes on sale for $2.50 at Steam (not currently) if you’d rather not pay that much.
