Yeah, I have been out of the PC loop for 2 years now and forgot how much CHEAPER the games are on Windows than consoles.

The problem with Elder Scrolls DLCs and expansions is that the games take so long to complete if I play most of the side quests that I’m ready for a change when I’ve finished the main quest. I picked up both of the Morrowind ones and still haven’t touched Bloodmoon. I didn’t bother with any of the Oblivion ones and didn’t miss them.

Anyway, Gamersgate is out of Steam keys, so even though I bought it, I can’t download or play for “a while”.

So, I now DON’T know exactly what I’ll be doing this weekend. :(

They’ve been on sale a lot recently, but the new Amazon deals of the week are Hitman: Absolution for $7.49 and Sleeping Dogs for $9.99. Both unlock on Steam.

Apparently Amazon has dropped Hitman to $5, which I believe IS the best it has been.

I wouldn’t buy it. The idea was interesting but the execution poor. The controls sucked and the puzzles were generally pretty easy. I stuck with it longer than I should have and it never got better. Sure $5 isn’t much money, but you can never get that part of your life back.

Likewise, I spent around $4 on From Dust a while back and wish I hadn’t. Apart from poor controls the game also locks the frame rate to 30fps, most likely a side effect of a shoddy console port.

Ha! Good point! Yes, no worries, my backlog allowed me to wait this long, and it will MORE than allow me to get through the next few days before Skyrim. My weekend will be full, just not full of Skyrim. :)

I am proud of you! Maybe I will learn from your strength and resist games I don’t need to play. (I just reread my statement and it sounds like I’m being snarky, I’m not). I resisted buying some Need For Speed games from Steam so maybe there is hope for us yet.

I think it’s more that Legendary Heroes is imminent and as far as I can tell will effectively obsolete Fallen Enchantress as it currently exists. Though, granted, it does get you a discount on Legendary Heroes.

Looking at the site the problem appears to have been that they ordered new keys before the sale, but they didn’t turn up in time. They say they have them now. I wasn’t going to order any thing until tomorrow anyway due to CC end month dates - if I order on Sunday I don’t have to pay until July. It’s not really a problem, but I’m just a skinflint :).
