I ordered Friday morning got my key today.

Fwiw I ordered today and the key arrived in five min. so it seems they are now caught up.

Torchlight 2 is $6.79 on Steam.

The thing with SS2 is that I’m afraid replaying it 14 years later would ruin many good memories I had at the time. Maybe it would be ok if I think of the graphics as “artistically represented” rather than god awful by today’s standards?

Oops, I found out about this after I bought it. Oh well. I’ll still play with FE now, and maybe it’ll hook me for LH later!

@Soma The game aged well. If you can play Thief, SS2 is fine.

I thought it looked godawful because of the low-poly models and textures, but once I used mods to address that (for models I used the less popular one that stole assets from other games), yeah, it didn’t look so bad.
There are a couple of moments where the game leaves you too clueless about what to do next and the respawning can really get annoying, but other than that, it holds up very good.

A true remake ala Half Life’s Black Mesa would be spectacular, though.

Well, www.TTLG.com has a SS2 subforum with a ton of links to fan-missions, graphics mods, engine mods, and tweaks if those are your thing. I prefer playing games without much modding, but I am apparently odd. Search Rebirth, SHTUP, and 2.4.

disclaimer: I organized this

there is a 7 day sale of 32 different PC indie games going on here:
http://www.showmethegames.com/sales.php

discounts up to 75%, lots to choose from.

Oh, Lux Delux for $5 is good. It’s sort of a RISK type of game. Lots of different maps to download.

Yeah, I’ve really enjoyed it. 100’s of different map styles, some with unique objectives. Well worth $5.

X-Com is 66% off on Steam ($13.59). I believe it’s finally time to take the plunge!

There are many people selling this for $10 and its Steam activated. Reason they are selling is because they got it free from a pre order of BioShock Infinite. Ask around here.

Gamersgate having a Bethseda sale. Skyrim - the cheapest I’ve seen it anywhere @$14.95.

Of course, Hunted - The Demon’s Forge is @ $9.99. That game never seems to drop to $4.99 - wonder why?

Their Bethsda weekend finished yesterday - it was even cheaper then £7-50 UK - approximately $11, unless us brits were getting it cheaper, which sometimes happens on these websites.

There was a discount code for Bethesda games, I forgot to put it in this forum :(

http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc/games/strategy/carcassonne/

Carcassonne is 75% off (it’s $2.59, no idea if you can use a discount code to lower the price further). It’s a wonderful tile-laying game, a bit like a jigsaw puzzle but with scoring. You need greenman’s client (capsule) to run it, I think.

New Indie Royale thingy.

Alien Shooter 2 Conscription
Burn Zombie Burn

Primal Fears

Friends had told me Lucius’ gameplay almost requires a walkthrough. Any opinions on Primal Fears?

I was looking up the DRM for Dragon Age… any idea what Gamersgate means when they say “Other DRM”? Specifically for Dragon Age, I mean. I did a quick google and it looks like “Other DRM” is kind of a crapshoot for them.
