Actually, I think the first Dragon Age didn’t use Origin as exclusive platform, that came a bit later with BF3 and DA2. Maybe it’s Securom.

Yeah the original Dragon Age didn’t require Origin. However, the DLC did require an account to be made (which was initially with Bioware but may be Origin now). My guess is that “other” means the base game uses one form (probably SecuROM) and the DLC uses another (probably Origin).

This doesn’t appear to contain the DA2 DLC, which AFAIK EA has never bundled. Of course, if you don’t like DA2, you might consider that a plus…

I’m always torn with Din’s Curse. On the one hand it looks so fantastic (and I love Drox Operative) but it always seems so spectacularly confusing that I’m put off. If I give it time, does some of that confusion clear?

And Demon War still isn’t discounted. Damn it, I’ve been staring at it for a good 3-4 Steam sales now and Demon War is never discounted. There may not be much of a difference between spending $10 for the full set and spending $7.50, but it’ll haunt me. Forever. And so I wait.

For those interested in Din’s, Demon War is a nice addition, but if you have not put alot of time into Din’s already, you can certainly leave Demon War until later. I’ve played both and there is more than enough game in Din’s alone for a long while.

I own both and I find Drox way more hard to wrap my head around than Din’s. Drox has soooo many options they throw at you. Din’s is much more manageable.
