I had a quick go and to me the combat just feels really average, at least so far - very confusingly swarm heavy for these old reflexes and lacking impact and feedback. There is another review here, also a good score. Tom seemed to not hate it judging from his post a couple of days back.

It’s not complete, I believe its missing the final released DLC in January of 2013.

Oh…?! I didn’t even know about that last DLC, but I guess you’re referring to The Outcasts? FYI for anyone interested, that’s on sale too for $1.50. The false ‘complete’-ness of bundles is definitely a pet peeve of mine, but given the pricing here, I can’t complain. :)

Does anyone know if the DLC bought on gamersgate would register on steam?

I own the rest of the game on steam and just want the last DLC cheap for “completeness”. :p

It’s listed as DRM free, so nope.

Ah ok, I never bought from gamersgate before so I wasn’t sure. :)

Greenman are having a 75% off sale on Nordic games. Nothing that interests me or I don’t already own, but YMMV as they say.

I want to pick up MOO2 as I’ve never played the game before and I keep hearing how it’s the standard for space games. I’m a bit confused though. Do I want Master of Orion II: Battle for Antares for $1.36 or do I want MOO1 and 2 for $2.02. I have no interest in playing the older game-I just want to make sure that Battle for Antares isn’t just some kind of expansion or something like this.
Also, is the GOG version and Gamersgate version essentially the same?

MOO2 Battle for Antares is just the second game. No expansions back in those days, just excellent games :)

Newegg has the wired Xbox 360 controller on sale for $26.99 with free shipping (yes it works on Windows too).

New Tomb Raider is $13.60 at Green Man Gaming after code GMG20-LLASD-D8WBQ. I’m tempted to hold out for the Steam Summer sale, but I may just bite on this one.

How much an hour do you make again, Canuck?

Just get both. You know you’ll be curious about 1 vs 2 one day.

Zigfrak is PWYW at https://indiegamestand.com/

The trailer makes it look like a cross between Elite and Diablo, but I have no idea if it’s any good or not. Paging Brian Rubin…?

I really dug it. ;)

Thanks! Sold.

Yay, happy to help! Enjoy!

Humble Bundle for Alan Wake & American Nightmare, $1 buys both, activates on Steam.

I can’t get behind this. MOO2 is freaking amazing and a complete sequel, you don’t need MOO1. If you end up being curious about MOO1, just watch some youtube videos. Not that it’s bad, but damn, it’s old. MOO2 is timeless. Save that seventy cents!

Or, you know, just get both. Cripes, it’s only $2!

Whoa, this game got really cheap in a hurry.

It’s Square-Enix!
