I want to pick up MOO2 as I’ve never played the game before and I keep hearing how it’s the standard for space games. I’m a bit confused though. Do I want Master of Orion II: Battle for Antares for $1.36 or do I want MOO1 and 2 for $2.02. I have no interest in playing the older game-I just want to make sure that Battle for Antares isn’t just some kind of expansion or something like this…

I much preferred MoO2 over MoO1. However, a number of gamer friends of mine preferred the original over MoO2. For a mere $0.66, I’d get both and decide for myself which one I liked best. And Wo1verine is correct, “MOO2 Battle for Antares is just the second game. No expansions back in those days, just excellent games :)”

I was going to see if I could finish 3 backlog games this weekend before I decided on Tomb Raider, but the sale ends in 17 hours! I guess I’ll grab it and start early next week.

Yup…for example, in the great amazon.com sale going on now, Tomb Raider is going to be priced at $19.99 next week. That’s $6.40 more! You can buy 6 MOOs! (Or 1 Unity of Command + 1 MOO2.)

Why do I have $3 of GMG credit sitting in my account? This store confuses me.

It’s now stuck on the “Processing Order” screen, even though I’ve already grabbed the Steam key from my email. But that processing page is trying so hard that it’s adorable.
