An episodic adventure game that began in 2010 and finished in 2013. Has steam cards! Might pay for itself…
Okay, guys. There are two A-10 DLCs. Which one is better and why?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/245810/ - $9.99
http://store.steampowered.com/app/245570/ - $5.09
First one is A-10C, originally stand-alone. Massive, massive switchology. Have your full-on HOTAS ready before trying.
Second one is A-10A, originally from Flaming Cliffs. Less massive switchology (due to its FC roots), also less capable.
As an anti-switchology crusader, I prefer the second. I have them both already, of course.
Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is 80% off right now, which brings it down to $10 – about $9.50 too much.
Steam today: Contrast $8.99 (40% off).
This was free for PS4 Plus members last year. Steam page shows that it won a lot of indie awards. What does QT3 hivemind say?
Steam mid-week #1: Risk of Rain $5.99 (40% off). QT3 thread
Steam mid-week #2: Capcom DLC sale 50-75% off DLCs from the following games:
[ul][]DmC Devil May Cry[]Resident Evil 6[]Resident Evil: Revelations[]Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition[]Lost Planet 3[]Street Fighter X Tekken[*]Remember Me[/ul]
GamersGate has a bunch of Sega stuff on sale, including Company of Heroes 2 (for $13.60). Also the Fallen Enchantress games. Also Borderlands 2 for $7.
Contrast sounded cool, but I tried the demo on 360 and I wasn’t too impressed. The art is excellent, but the puzzles were trivial. I imagine they get harder as you get further into the game, but the demo didn’t show it.
Alpha Protocol for under $4. Buy that shit if you don’t already have it people.
I don’t think I’ve ever bought from Gamersgate…are those Steam keys they sell?
Usually. Varies by product, but yeah, a lot of the stuff you think would be Steam keys, are. (Check descriptions carefully, though.)
Yeah, some are, some aren’t. In this case, it’s a DRM free version, they say.
[/li]DLC only? What sort of trickery is this?
Check the description under DRM: if it says Steamworks…well, you know what that means. :)
JA2 is one of the best games ever made, and I’m tempting to buy it just so I can be the only review on Steam and express that sentiment, but am I correct in thinking there’s some weird bugs only in the Steam version of JA2? Were they fixed?
edit: This thread says those bugs are fixed?
Isn’t JA2 that game that has extensive development out of official patches since the source code was released?
I think you should just play the actual newest non-official version. I can’t remember, but there’s a pretty huge community version that is considered like the standard now.
Fiddling with some upcoming releases, I saw you can get the new Thief for $34 from Greenman Gaming with code YOGCST-BESTYT-EVERRR. Not bad. Gamersgate has a sale on all things total war, except the Caesar in Gaul DLC.
Steam today: PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+ $4.99 (50% off).
All DLCs 50% off. “All you can eat” edition $7.49 is probably the best value. (This game has DLCs? … new courses, skins, music.)
Bonus: Descent $3.49 (50% off, ends Feb 18).
The price you’ll pay for listing this game on Steam while you play the GOG version.
