Steam today: Secrets of Rætikon - $4.99 - (50% off).
Pretty polygon/triangular graphics style. Tags say action/adventure/puzzle. Very indie.
Steam weeklongs; games that I’ve heard of/want to highlight:
[ul]
[li]Descent: Freespace - The Great War - $2.99 - (50% off). Not Freespace 2!
[/li][li]Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble!™ - $9.99 - (50% off).
[/li][li]7 Grand Steps - $9.99 - (50% off). QT3 thread.
[/li][li]Nethergate: Resurrection - $0.99 - (80% off). Spiderweb Software’s deal of the week.
[/li][li]GestureWorks Gameplay - $7.49 - (50% off). Emulates a gamepad for your windows tablet.
[/li][li]AI War Collection 2014 - $6.80 - (60% off). There’ll be a new collection next year, maybe?!?
[/li][li]Always Remember Me - $12.05 - (33% off). Hatoful boyfriend, but with humans.
[/li][li]Zombie Pirates - $1.49 - (90% off). You just can’t go wrong buying this game.
[/li][li]The Campaign Series: Fall Weiss - $8.24 - (67% off). Hardcore wargame. The rest of the games GET OFF MY LAWN!
[/li][/ul]
So I see that among the Steam weekly deals are Zenoclash 2 and Hard Truck Apocalypse:Rise of the Clans, each under 2 bucks. Is the latter an “expandalone” or does it require another game?
EDIT: Can’t believe I missed the listing of Freespace 1. What I played of it back when I really liked. Did I read at some point that you could play the first game’s campaign in the second one’s engine?
I suppose $6.80 for every AI War, I probably can’t go wrong, right? It’s one of those games I’ve heard plenty of good things about but never played.
Bad Rats is a quarter in that week long deal. Has trading cards, so it’s basically “free” if anyone wants it.

Is Kickbeat awesome?
edit: Found a demo on playstation 3. Not my kind of thing, but DDR fans might like it.

The game itself can be divisive but there is a lot of content in there for $6.80.
Yeah. Only my experience, but if you’re like me you will be spending $7 to occasionally try the tutorial and get only a fraction of the way through it, then start all over again next time you attempt to play.

AI War is a weeklong sale, try the demo!
Grognards rejoice! The Steam Weeklong Deals include some hidden gems:
Paradox’s March of Eagles for $4.99
The fairly recently released Fall Weiss for $8.24
and Strategic War in Europe for only $2.99
Bonus - All 3 have Steam Trading Cards you can sell for a further rebate on the purchase price.
Storm over the Pacific is also available at an oddly discounted 51% off for $9.79.
So I got Full Mojo Rampage as part of the weeklong sale, and it’s violent and fun so far.
Steam today: Bully: Scholarship Edition - $3.74 - (75% off).
Steam midweek #1: Portal 2 - $4.99 - (75% off).
Portal 1 is $2.49. Get both for just $6.24.
Steam midweek #2: Metro: Last Light Complete Edition - $4.99 - (75% off).
Season pass is available separately for just $2.49. Metro 2033 is $3.74.
(I have everything here except Metro: Last Light. Of these, I’ve only played Portal 1. I blame my job, my dog, my slum property, etc etc)
Last Light is worth every penny, toss it onto the backlog, or better yet move it to the top of the playlist.
I hope other people bought those stickers yesterday. You can already get back triple what you paid on the Steam marketplace.

Absolutely! Thanks for posting it. I am glad I held out on Van Helsing and CK2 to this point (my backlog kept telling me NO). $5 to snag both games plus all the other stuff is a STEAL.
