One day I will have time to play them all! #BELIEVE
Holy shit me too, was just coming here to post that.
Ha awesome, just posted over in the Creeper World 3 thread about this. :)
Heh, you and me both, brother.
No fancy digital cards to craft into fancy digital badges in the vain hopes of winning games off your wishlist, but Steam is back with some daily and weekly deals that look decent:
Daily Deal is Talisman Digital Edition for $5.55. Looks very cool, but I know nothing about the gameplay. Is this game playable single player? Do you need expansions to play properly (they’re all 55% off as well). There is a brand new expansion called Frostmarch for $4.99 (no discount).
Weeklong Deals are also back. Lots of stuff this week including:
Gothic Universe (I, II and III) for $4.99
ArcaniA (Gothic 4) for $4.99 or get it with the expansion for $7.49
Enclave for $0.99
Gorky 17 for $0.99
N.P.P.D. Rush for $0.79 (siezure inducing!)
Hostile Waters Antaeus Rising for $2.49
Hacker Evolution for $1.99
Saturday Morning RPG for $2.79
Dream Pinball 3D for $0.97

Time to start rehearsing that testimony for your disability hearing.
Protip: EVERYTHING HURRRRTS
I’ve played on iOS, but I assume it’s the same basic game. I have only played single player with no expansions.

It can be played singleplayer (The AI’s ok) and you don’t need the expansions to play properly. One cool thing they did with it is include house rules and let you optionally enable and disable expansions you own at a whim, since sometimes when you’re playing a boardgame you might not want absolutely everything enabled at once. And the house rules let you tweak it a bit more, like you can have the Reaper expansion running but enable the house rule of not having the Reaper figure, so it’s just a straight card expansion. And house rules for the vanilla game like random character selection, and/or “Offer 3 characters, pick one” selection, change character after death, etc etc.

New Counter Strike: Global Offensive operation just started.
http://www.counter-strike.net/operationbreakout
$6 - requires base game.
But Gigglemoo, why is this is in the bargain thread?
It’s almost free money just for playing. The little crate things you get from having one (all the way at the bottom) should be marketable, and people have always been insane buying them on the marketplace. Last time an operation started you could sell the crates for almost $20. Past operation crates have been a once a week guaranteed drop after a couple hours ingame.
Valve also banned a ton of people immediately after the summer sale with new VAC stuff. Apparently hit some professional players too. CS:GO forums have been very amusing. :)
edit: Marketplace listing.

Let me know when they’re paying me to take one and I’ll consider it.
They kinda are. Dino D-Day has some Steam Trading Cards which you can sell for about 20 cents to put into your Steam wallet.
Don’t you need to install it for that? I’m not gonna install the game, it’s more about collecting.
Install it, run it, but not actually play it. Letting the game sit at a menu in the background will still get you the cards.
Nah. Too much effort. I’m content with another entry in my library.
Dino D-Day was awful at launch. Just fucking terrible.
I have no idea in what ways the devs have updated the game, but I doubt it’s changed enough to negate the fundamentally bad core of gameplay.
Pass. Your time is worth more.
You can use Steam Achievement Manager to idle for cards without needing to install. Works for any game (even without achievements, if you look up its id in the store). I’ve gotten more use out of SAM doing this than I ever did ‘fixing’ broken achievements.
