Threes! for iOS is free app of week at Starbucks Canada. Highly recommend.
Dungeon Hearts is 44 cents on the Humble store. It’s …different. Speed-based match three with movable puzzle pieces. Isn’t for everyone. I liked it for a half hour before I was frustrated (hard game!), and it also has Steam cards you could sell for most of the money back.
Get Games is currently selling the following for 63% off:
Talisman: Digital Edition $5.54 (matching lowest historical price)
Talisman: Digital Edition - The Reaper $1.84 (lowest historical price)
Talisman: Digital Edition - Frostmarch $1.84 (released less than a month ago; lowest historical price)
It took them a while between announcement and store update, but the Playstation Store (Europe / Australia) is currently holding a “Big in Japan” sale, including most Final Fantasies (which includes the X/X2 remake), Metal Gear Solids, Ateliers, Tales of…, Ni no Kuni, and a very rare discount on the normally ridiculously overpriced Persona 2 and 3 (PSP/Vita edition).
PS+ owners: some games may get a 10% extra discount if you wait a few days.

Eesh. I haven’t played the digital version of Talisman, but you couldn’t pay me enough to play the board game again. The epitome of 80’s design: you roll a die to move, then draw a card to see what happens. It’s a very long game in which you make almost no decisions.
I’ve only played the solitaire version on iPad but yes, that’s sadly exactly true. It’s almost a non-game. I guess if people are drunk around a kitchen table it’s fun anyway but the digital version strikes me as utterly pointless except for nostalgia.

Ok. Glad to know. At least I’ll save some money this time. :)
Nice deal for most of the recent Might & Magic series bundled together on Steam.

HoMM 5 & 6 have mixed thoughts about being worth the money, but the rest in the bundle are decent.
Most of the negative reviews I’ve seen about 6 are due to uPlay, always online DRM, and some bugs with nvidia cards.
I like 6, and most of the technical issues have been ironed out. But there remain some bugs that are potentially game breaking unless you work around them, and many abilities do not work as described (some are bugged to work the opposite way; helping your opponent instead of you, for instance).

I didn’t have technical problems with VI, but the scenarios were way too drawn out.

Greenmangaming’s got a 25% voucher that works on a lot of titles: INDIEP-ENDENC-EDAY25
I just pre-ordered Batman Arkham Knight for $37.50
Steam today: Risen 2: Dark Waters - $3.99 - 80% off.
Whole Risen franchise on sale.
Another round of Weeklong sales. Some notables:
[ul]
[li]Descent 3 - $4.99 - 50% off. Retro 3D shooter.[/li][li]Circuits - $0.74 - 75% off. Indie puzzle game.[/li][li]The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav - $3.99 - 80% off. The prequel adventure game to Memoria. (???)[/li][li]Avernum Bundle (4, 5, 6) - $2.99 - 75% off.[/li][li]Haegemonia Bundle - $2.24 - 75% off.[/li][li]East India Company - $1.99 - 80% off.[/li][/ul]
IndieGala.com has a new Weekly Bundle up for $1.49 for the forst 24 hours. A mix of the decent, the terrible and the interesting that includes Steam keys for:
[ul]
[li]Bardbarian - looks interesting and fun
[/li][li]Coldfire Keep - a Dungeon Master-like RPG that received mediocre reviews
[/li][li]Blade Symphony - I know nothing about this one
[/li][li]Into the Dark : Ultimate Trash Edition - this looks absolutely terrible
[/li][li]Toki Tori 2+ - Metroidvania-style puzzler that is supposed to be excellent
[/li][li]Micy Roll - A physics platformer that looks strange, yet interesting
[/li][/ul]
Also, as KaoFloppy mentioned above, the Steam Weeklong deals are plentiful this week. Some that stood out to me included:
[ul]
[li]Inquisitor - $0.99 (didn’t get the best reviews, but for a buck…)
[/li][li]Praetorians - $0.99 (an older strategy title, but a decent one, and again, a buck…)
[/li][li]Penny Arcade Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4 - $1.49 (or get both 3 and 4 for $1.99)
[/li][li]Early Access game Meridian : New World for $7.49 (50% off). Looks interesting…
[/li][/ul]
Blade Symphony is worth a look if you like highly technical PvP games. Here’s the thread I started about it. Recommended!
Bardbarian alone is worth the $1.50. It’s a port of a mobile game but I still found it to be a nice take on the tower defense genre, and one that probably works better with an actual controller.
BundleStars new Firestorm Bundle will give you 8 games for $3.99 including:
[ul]
[li]Mount & Blade : With Fire and Sword (Worth the $4 all by itself. It’s basically Warband with historical factions and even more weapons and armor)
[/li][li]Project Aftermath (an interesting looking squad-based RTS)
[/li][li]Explodemon
[/li][li]Velocity Ultra
[/li][li]Electronic Super Joy : Groove City (read the game description, if your response is not “WTF?!” then it’s probably a game for you…)
[/li][li]Influx
[/li][li]Imperial Glory (looks like a Empire : Total War knockoff without the strategic map?)
[/li][li]Praetorians (an oldie but a solid strategy title. Also available for $0.99 on Steam right now as part of Weeklong Deals)
[/li][/ul]
If you’re a Mount and Blade fan who doesn’t yet own WF&S this is a good price for it and you get 7 bonus games “free”. Deal.

Imperial Glory has a strategic map, and the strategic game is actually pretty good. The tactical combat, otoh, is very bad. If you don’t mind auto-resolving battles, it’s not a bad game at all.
