Everyone should at least throw in for one way heroics!

Also, One Way Heroics ALONE is worth the $1. SUCH an amazing little game.

Limited supply, so act fast.

Thanks for this. Had Star Forge on my wishlist and came here to see if it was worth buying when I got the wishlist alert that it was on sale.

Not a big fan of early access anyway, so I’ll wait and see what the finished game looks like.

Why is Astebreed in the $10 tier? Is that a relatively new game? I’ve never heard of it.

EDIT: Oops, just saw the video they have for it. It’s a bullet-hell shooter thingie. I never would have wanted that anyway. Not my genre. That’s like Tom Chick and Sports game. No thanks!

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae looks interesting. It’s the closest game to Bungie’s Oni that I’ve seen since that game’s release. Looks completely combat-based though, no story?

Ys Origin alone is worth it at the $6 Tier. One way Heroics is good quick fun also. Unholy Heights is good for an hour or so.

Checked the Steam page for Starforge:

Also there is a sale on Battlefield 3 at Origin and you can get a week of Game Time (1-week trial) for Battlefield 4 in the Origin client.

Steam weekend #2: Nosgoth - 50% off various packs.Early Access! Free weekend!
Looks like a MOBA? Isn’t this free-to-play?

Not a MOBA, its a 4 v 4 Humans vs Vampires third person shooter. It will be free to play once it’s out. But it is quite fun and worth checking out for the free weekend.

(Stealth) Steam free weekend #3 is Strike Vector, which is 60% off.

Bullet points from Mr. Rubin? This is a must have!!!

I’m so glad Brian qualified his statement with “in-game character”.

It’s worth noting that 5 of the 6 games in the $6 tier of the Humble Weekly have Steam Trading Cards. That means you could see a rebate of about half your purchase price if you sell the cards from each game, making the whole thing an even better deal.

This, so much.
As a bonus, for freaks like me who prefer games DRM free, this bundle also has stand-alone downloads for everything. From now on, Steam will no longer be able to track how many hours I’m wasting playing this!

Curious to try out Everquest Landmark? MMORPG.com is giving away thousands of free beta keys. Looks like it’s stress test time.

Landmark is fun, if grindy. All you can do right now is explore, gather resources, improve your equipment and build stuff on your plot, there is no combat or questing or weapons/armor. That stuff is coming later supposedly, but for now it’s a very pretty sandbox for builders. Well worth checking out for FREE.

UPDATE : Apparently the keys are only good for 7 days of access to the beta. Nowhere on the page does it say this, and I already have access through the Founders pack I purchased months ago, so I had no idea the keys were limited. My apologies for the disappointment.

Steam today: Legends of Eisenwald - $9.99 - (50% off). Early access.
robc04 started a thread here. It’s a turned-based fantasy strategy RPG.
Does anyone know how complete Star Forge is? It is really the kind of game I like, but if it is still in the very early stages with not all that much to do, I want to stay away from it.

I would have to fire it up again, but it’s still pretty alpha-y.

I bought it in some Steam sale over a year ago and have played it every now and then to see how far it has progressed. Unless something major has happened over the last couple of months, there is barely anything in the game worth doing, just the same as there was barely anything worth doing a year ago. At the moment I wouldn’t spend time or money on it.

Its not easy being Green!
