It’s fun, but it’s not the best in it’s genre for sure. It’s also crazy hard around mission 5 or so, then it get’s easier again. Kind of a strange pace.

Witcher 3 has been cheaper at GreenManGaming pretty much since release.

Yep, Witcher 3 is $29.99 in the GMG VIP room.

But first time on sale on Steam, right? Aside from grey-market key resellers?

Edit: I mean haven’t the keys being sold always unlocked on GOG?

I think that’s true (about the GOG part).

Anyone know if Stronghold Crusader 2 had fun added to it ?

The Humble Store has brought back all the daily sales into a single massive weekend sale. Missed anything? Go get them now! I’ll just mention one thing:
Offworld Trading Company - $19.99 - 50% off. Early access.

Humble has Borderlands: The Pre Sequel for $10. The majority opinion is that this wasn’t nearly as good as its predecessor, right?

Correct, it was just alright.

In the recent 3MA Podcast the panel talks about Act of Aggression. Tom Chick mentions that it is hard to recommend Act of Aggression when Command & Conquer: Generals is still available on Origin and plays well on modern PCs.

It just so happens that the C&C Ultimate Collection (which includes Generals and the expansion) is on sale on Origin for 50% off at $9.99.

Not only that, but Hunie Pop is $4.99

And right at the intersection between “good game” and “endless cheesecake,” Skullgirls is $2.24!

I’ve got the base Borderlands 2 (which I’ve already played through) - should I get the Borderlands 2 GOTY for just the DLC content or splurge the extra 2 bucks for the Pre Sequel? I do like loot and shooting… Or is this all red herrings and I should wait for the Pre Sequel GOTY edition? Which is the Better Bargain?

Is Gat Out of Hell worth playing at the sale price?

I would put Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC above the whole of Borderlands the Pre-Sequel.

Man, there is just a metric crapton of stuff for sale in the Humble End of Summer Encore Sale. Prices are good all weekend, so check it out.

One big highlight: Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited for $40.19 (33% off). That’s the best discount I’ve seen for the game since it went B2P.

All the Shadowrun stuff is on sale too, including Dragonfall for $4.49 and Boston Lockdown for $16.99.

Sunless Sea is $9.49 and Road Redemption is $9.99, both are the steepest discounts yet for either game (usually they’re only 33%-40% off).

Also check out GOG.com’s Indie Pinata Sale. Discounts on a bunch of indie games all weekend long, and for $3 you can buy a piñata that (when you checkout) will open up and reveal a mystery indie game worth anywhere from $14.99-$44.99. Supposedly it prioritizes based on games you don’t already own (on GOG at least), so you should (in theory) get a game that is new to you for your $3.

So… has anybody bought a pinata yet? It’s weird how tempting it is, even though there’s pretty much a 99.9% chance I’ll get something I have no interest in playing.

I was feeling lucky this morning and went with the Pinata even though I have about a 100 games on the service. It did give me a game I did not own: Spelunky. Of course, I already own the game on Steam, XBox, and PSN…
