Probably the wrong thread for this, but comic book creation software Manga Studio 5 (aka Clip Studio Paint Pro) is on sale for $15 until the end of November, down from $50.

I’m not sure if its limited to new customers only. The price to upgrade from v4 is $30.

I really hate amazon lightning deals.

I put something i want on watch. I’m there the second it opens. By the time the page has reloaded, it is sold out.

PS4 on Newegg for 279.99. If you you use the Amex deal for Newegg, spend 200 and get 25 back, you’re looking at 254.99. If you use a Visa Checkout code it’s another 25 off making it 229.99. Sorry if this is posted already. I am deciding on the VCO code, there might be an issue with that last code.

I’ve seen the Sentinels of The Multiverse card game mentioned here before and people seem to like it. [It’s on sale for $23](Sentinels of The Multiverse). It has dipped below $20 a couple of times. so this isn’t its lowest price.

Deals that I was tempted by this holiday weekend:

Dying Light $15 (XB1) (Walmart)
Wolfenstein: Old Blood $6.60 (PS4) (PSN Store)
Mad Max $25 (XB1) (Best Buy)
GTA V $25 (XB1) (Walmart)
Elder Scrolls Online $24 (XB1) (XBL Store)
Forza 6 $35 (XB1) (I forgot where this was on sale)
N++ $14 (PS4) (PSN Store)
This War of Mine $6.79 (PC) (Steam)
Retrovirus $4.99 (PC) (Steam)
Age of Wonders 3 $8.99 (PC) (Steam)
Talos Principle $13.59 (PC) (Steam)
Distant Worlds: Universe $29.99 (PC) (Steam)
Ever since I started Witcher 3, I’ve been pretty good about not purchasing anything I’m not ready to play right now. By now it’s a habit. So I let these sales pass. Hopefully I can get similar prices or better if I wait until I’m actually ready to play them. Dying Light was the most tempting, since a friend at work has been talking it up lately.

You’ll see these prices again I’m sure. If you’re not going to play them yet there is no point. With me it’s always a risk if I’m in the middle of a time consuming game like the WItcher 3 and then get a new game. I’m always tempted to check out the new game and risk staying away from the old one for too lang and then I don’t want to go back because I’ve forgotten what’s going on.

You’ve got some good games in that list. Dying Light is a must buy (at some point) for sure. Mad Max is good. I wish I waited on GTA V until it was $10 even though there were some good stuff in there. There was plenty of tedious / repetitive stuff too. This War of Mine was a cool little game worth experiencing. Age of Wonders 3 is also good. Talos Principle had some really fun puzzles. Distant World I have mixed feelings about. There were enough things that annoyed me that I haven’t played it since I reviewed it. But, I also want to try the early start (less advanced) that was added after I reviewed it since I like starting small in 4X games.

Microsoft Store has the Xbox 1 Elite Console for $50 off with a free game (I got AssCreedUnity) and $60 of in game credit (I bought a Tomb Raider key card in store with mine). $449 out the door in Tax Free Delaware. Comes with the Hybrid 1TB hard disk and the funky elite pad.

I did finish Witcher 3. I was just saying it got me into the habit of not picking up new games while I’m playing my current one. Witcher 3 took me 6 months of daily play to finish, but I never wavered. It was the sort of game that makes it really easy to make that kind of resolution.

Hot damn. That’s a great deal. Just the Elite controller is $150 normally. And the Hybrid drive should get you much better load times. That’s really cool.

Ah, I thought you were still in W3. Then it’s time to buy some games!

Life is Strange complete, 50% off (Steam code)

If you have Darksiders 2 with all the DLC or season pass, you can get upgraded to the Deathinitive version for free from the publisher:

They were doing manual fulfillment by email for a bit. Nice that they finally worked out how to do it as an automated thing.

Thanks for the heads up, I am glad I refused to pay the $6 or $12 (I forget) dollars to upgrade.

Thanks!

Nice! I would never have known about this.

Daily play for 6 months! Sounds like you sure got your money’s worth, W3 really is one of the greats.

Huh, strange. I didn’t even have to use that site - Deathinitive was already sitting in my steam account automatically. Thanks for the heads up though as I would never have known otherwise!

Anyone get the Heroes of Might and Magic 3 HD remake? Is it worth it for the improved graphics? It’s on sale at gamersgate.com for $3.75.

I know it doesn’t come with the expansions. I’ve still got the CD’s for Heroes 3 and all the expansions
