Gotta say that’s somewhat tempting, but I played it through on the 360 when it came out, and I have all kinds of games that I want to play more–like right now I have a serious hankering for Fallout 3.
A propos of FO3, the DLC’s are on sale on the Humble Store right now.

Oddly enough, that’s why I liked the BFG version.

BundleStars.com is doing a new bundle each day for 5 days. They’re kicking it off today with the RPG Heroes Bundle, which is $2.49 for the first 48 hours. 8 Steam keys, including some pretty good older titles and a decent remake:
[ul]
[li]Blades of Time Limited Edition[/li][li]bit Dungeon II[/li][li]Etherlords I and II (old but classic games mixing TBS and TCG mechanics)[/li][li]Wizardry 8 [/li][li]Rune Classic[/li][li]FATE : Undiscovered Realms (note that the FATE games are great ARPG games for kids, nothing too dark and the shapeshifting pets are fun!)[/li][li]Realms of Arkania : Blade of Destiny HD and its For the Gods DLC (total remake of the original game with HD graphics and UI/gameplay overhaul)[/li][/ul]
Over at Groupees.com there is a Build A Greenlight 28 bundle that features the very interesting looking Redemption : Eternal Quest, a game in which you run an adventuring guild. It combines resource management, RPG stats/equipment, card-based combat and mission/story driven gameplay and looks pretty well designed and fairly unique. For $1 you can pair it with another Greenlight game (Arcane Sorcery and Macguffin both look somewhat interesting) and get DRM-free download links right away, then Steam keys when (if) the games are Greenlit. Don’t forget to vote for your chosen games on Steam Greenlight.
Ohhh, lots of amazing stuff in that bundle.
My Xbox Live subscription was actually about to run out for the first time in years. (I bought a few years when I got a deal like getting it for around $20 a year way back in the day). So I looked around and found this. A tad over $30 for a year of Xbox Live. Not bad.
My EA Access is also about to run out and autorenew. So I guess it’s been a year since I got EA Access on the Xbox One. Has it been worth it? For Battlefield 4 alone, yes. Plus I got to try out Peggle, Garden Warfare, Need for Speed Rivals, and a few other EA Games. I guess I’m going to re-up for sure because of the coming release of Dragon Age: Inquisition on EA Access, and potentially Battlefield: The Police One.
GamersGate is featuring the Master of Orion series of games:
Master of Orion $0.44
Master of Orion 1 + 2 $0.89
Master of Orion II: Battle at Antares $0.60
Master of Orion 3 $1.49
Master of Orion Collection $2.25
This special ends in 1 day and 22 hours, so don’t delay.
Tried to take advantage of this, but when it went to flip from the Gamesdeal.com website to the Paypal payment process it timed out with a server not found error (looks like the order/payment processing server for Gamesdeal.com is down). Now I have an order in their system, but no payment information, and no way to access the order to complete the payment process. At least they don’t have any of my payment info, so I guess it’s a wash.

Day two is up and it’s an FPS bundle:
Betrayer
System Shock 2 I really need to play through this someday.
Fancy Skulls
Dead Effect Actually doesn’t look too bad.
Zeno Clash Good first person melee game in a weird world. I recommend
Xotic Complete Looks interesting. Anyone played it?
Iron Grip: Warlord and Scorched Earth DLC
Dino D-Day
Steam today: Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) - $5.10 - 66% off.
Foxtales DLC also 66% off.
Steam midweek #1: Watch_Dogs - $15.99 - 60% off.
DLCs and Season Pass also 60% off.
Steam midweek #2: Dungeon Defenders 2 - $14.99 - 40% off. Early Access.
Final Fantasy Type-0 is coming to PCs? I’m surprised. According to the steam page, it gets some kind of HD treatment.
Sorry to hear that. It worked fine for me this morning, right before I posted that.
Freedom Planet and Screencheat were added to the Humble Jumbo Bundle 4 for BTA. I had already purchased so those two are nice additions and were on my wishlist. Coin Crypt added too which I never heard of before. https://www.humblebundle.com/
Day Three of the Heroes Bundles at BundleStars.com features the Strategy Heroes Bundle. This one is a steal at $2.49 for the first 48 hours as it includes Steam keys for:
[ul]
[li]Prime World : Defenders[/li][li]Heroes of Annihilated Empires (easily worth the cost of the bundle all by itself)[/li][li]Knights and Merchants (an older game, but very good)[/li][li]Runespell :Overture[/li][li]Eador : Genesis (another game easily worth the $2.49 bundle price all by itself)[/li][li]Hoard : Complete Pack (a unique game mechanic that is fun to play)[/li][li]Puzzle Kingdoms[/li][li]Frozen Synapse Prime : Double Pack (contains two copies of the game so you can gift one)[/li][/ul]
Wow, what an awesome bundle! Prime World: Defenders is pretty fun, and so is Runespell: Overture (if a bit simple and short). But yeah, Heroes of Annihilated Empires and Eador: Genesis are what make this bundle extra-awesome.

Just remember that Frozen Synapse Prime is the bad Frozen Synapse.
Then again, anyone who cared about the good Frozen Synapse already has it.
No worries, since I never got to enter any payment info there is no harm done. I did contact their support department letting them know that I was a new customer interested in placing an order, but my order got hung up in the system pre-payment and there doesn’t seem to be a way to access it to finish the transaction (it’s not listed under “My Orders” in my profile or in my cart or anywhere). It also won’t let me use the discount code to place the order over again. I received a reply in broken English telling me to login and look under My Orders (even though my original email clearly stated it’s not there, and still isn’t), then informing me that codes are one-time use only, so I won’t get another one even though their system ate my order.
I let them know that I wouldn’t be placing any orders at all then, and thanked them for their time. You would think the least they could have done was given me a new discount code so I could just replicate the original order…maybe it was the language barrier? Who knows?
If you don’t own these games- the BTA has at least 4-5 games I consider high quality- best Humble Bundle I’ve seen in a long while. I’ve been gifting it out to unemployed friends.
Very limited time deal going on at IndieGala.com right now. They just launched the Kings and Knights Bundle. For the next 11 hours it has special pricing:
$1 buys you:
[ul]
[li]Knights of the Pen and Paper +1 Edition[/li][li]Arsenal of Democracy : A Hearts of Iron Game[/li][/ul]
$2.89 (limited time) adds:
[ul]
[li]Ancient Space[/li][li]Darkest Hour : A Hearts of Iron Game[/li][li]Knights of the Pen and Paper : Haunted Flail DLC[/li][li]Warlock II : The Exiled[/li][li]Warlock II : Wrath of the Nagas DLC[/li][/ul]
$8.89 (limited time) unlocks the top tier:
[ul]
[li]Crusader Kings II[/li][li]Crusader Kings II : The Old Gods DLC[/li][li]Crusader Kings II : Sunset Invasion DLC[/li][/ul]
Under $3 to get Warlock II and it’s DLC plus the HOI standalone games is a STEAL. Knights of the Pen and Paper is fun as well. I know nothing of Ancient Space, but everything else is worth well over the $3 price tag.
For anyone who doesn’t own CK2, the $9 for it and the two DLC is a good price (plus you get all the other games too).
