Apparently it’s a space RTS, but the QT3 consensus was none-too-great.
Only buy Ancient Space if you LOVE Dwight Schultz, Ron Glass or John Billingsly, as they provide great voice work. Gameplay wise, ugh, so boring, so grindy, so needlessly difficult.

That’s funny. I’ve got several versions of the Barney Miller theme song ripped from YouTube and onto my phone. I just remember being a kid and thinking that it was one of the funkiest and coolest intro songs I’d ever heard.
It is amazing. Love that theme song.
And Dwight Schultz is aka Murdock from A-Team and Lt. Barclay from ST:TNG. I almost bought the bundle last night just to check out the voice acting, but decided that I could probably do that on Youtube without having to slog through the game.
Barney Miller soundtrack is amazing. Kind of reminds me of Bully’s soundtrack. 70s bass makes everything better.

Update : Gamesdeal.com responded and apologized for the misunderstanding, cancelling the “stuck” order and issuing me a 5% off coupon code to try and place the order again. This time I was successful in making it all the way through the order process for the $30 12-month Xbox Live Gold Card. It ended up being $29 even after processing fee with the 5% code they gave me (one time use, sorry).
I received an email within 15 minutes of my completed order that contained a JPG file that is a magnified scanned image of the scratched off back of an actual 12-month physical Xbox Live Card. A little weird, but if it registers fine when I get home tonight then I’ll call the whole thing a net win. I’ll update the post later tonight…
