Ah. No worries.
I’ll pick it up for $15. It’ll just mean one less day my son has lunch at school this year. He’s tough. ;)
So you guys were seeing the Zombie Army Trilogy for 14.99 or 15 even? Because I was seeing it for 15.twentysomething for some reason.
Just checked: Yup, $15.29 US. I own the game now thanks to the four pack I got in on (thanks lordkosc!) but I’m wondering if Valve is doing per-user pricing (if that’s legal) or somehow tacking on what people in other states would be paying in sales tax for people with Oregon addresses (Oregon has no sales tax, THANK GOD/the stars/the FSM/your deity of choice).
Spintires on GreenManGaming for $7.49 or $6.00 with the voucher 20OFFE-RENADB-SJUGCV.
I’ve been curious enough to give it a spin at that price.
Divergent Kingdoms Bundle on IndieGala.com.
$1 buys you Steam keys for:
[ul]
[li]Knights of the Sky[/li][li]18 Wheels of Steel : American Long Haul[/li][li]Seven Kingdoms 2 HD [/li][/ul]
$2.49 for the next 24 hours adds:
[ul]
[li]Darklands[/li][li]Drakensang : River of Time[/li][li]Sid Meier’s Colonization (Classic)[/li][li]Eradicator[/li][li]Moorhuhn Invasion (Crazy Chicken Invasion)[/li][li]Hunting Unlimited 2010[/li][li]Redline[/li][li]Dragonsphere[/li][li]18 Wheels of Steel : Extreme Trucker[/li][/ul]
So most of those titles are Retroism titles (much older games made to run with newer versions of Windows), but Seven Kingdoms 2 HD is worth $1, and adding the excellent Drakensang : River of Time RPG and the classic Darklands makes the bundle worth $2.49 easily.
Should I be excited by this? I liked Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and 5, but I’m not sure if this is all that great. Was 6 good?
I’ve heard some nice grumblings about Might and Magic X. Clash of Heroes is great in a Puzzle Quest sense.
Steam today: Kerbal Space Program - $26.79 - 33% off.
Just in time for back-to-school!
Look, it’s a new release with 10% off: RymdResa - $10.79 - 10% off.
I skimmed the Honestgamers review really fast, and it sounds like FTL without the interior RTS. Has anyone else played this?
Boot Hill Heroes, an Earthbound-inspired Western RPG (Steam link) will be in this upcoming groupees bundle:
Currently 1.50 for a pre-order
A few people here really liked the skirmish mode. Campaign levels aren’t as fun as the earlier games.
Just to clarify for those who don’t know, Clash of Heroes is similar to Puzzle Quest as a puzzle/strategy/RPG mash up. However, the game mechanics are completely different and more involved than PQ’s Bejeweled vibe.
But, yeah, totally get Clash of Heroes. It’s a great, great game.
Depends on what you already own. HoMM 6 was lackluster in campaign mode, but still a serviceable HoMM game. The latter M&M RPGs (3-6) are still a lot of fun to play though if you have nostalgic memories of them. The DLCs for HoMM V (Hammers of Fate and Tribes of the East) are generally considered very good, so if you only own vanilla V they are worth the pickup. Dark Messiah is different, and somewhat flawed, but still decent. Clash of Heroes is a great little time waster, and M&M X Legacy is considered a very good addition to the series and has quite a few fans in it’s thread here on QT3. Also, HoMM 3 HD is a nice little graphical upgrade to the original classic.
So, if you’re missing more than half the above from your collection, especially M&M X Legacy, I’d say it’s worth $10. If you’re only looking at the collection to add HoMM 6, then maybe not so much.
Wasn’t Tribes of the East standalone?
I had tribes but that was about it. I would have to run uplay though.
Yes, sorry, the Tribes game was standalone. So used to typing “DLC” I just did it automatically. ;-)
Also, Uplay is fine. I’ve never had any issues with running the dozen or so games I have on it.
Public Service Announcement : If you purchased the Humble Might and Magic Bundle earlier this year (as I did) you should receive an email thanking you for your purchase and granting you a FREE Might and Magic Heroes VII Beta Key. They simply added the key to your existing download page for the bundle. Beta runs Aug. 26th through Sept. 2nd.
GMG has a 25% off voucher going on (thanks slickdeals!) till 8/28/15 , use it to get Shadowrun HongKong or Rocket League for $15 each! :D
SLICKD-EALS25-OFFGMG
Also works on just about every pre-order game they have, so Fallout 4, Starwars Battlefront, COD BLOPS3, FIFA16, NBA2K16, are each $45.
It brings Civ Beyond Earth Rising Tide DLC down to $20.25 , but I’d wait for reviews on this one…
They also have the first day of their Indie Summer Sale going on!

It was $15.29. I just rounded down here. What does 29 cents mean to a high roller like me?
Hehe. Well, it wasn’t just you. Also, Steam has been known to post one price in error, then quickly correct it.
